You don't realize how difficult it is to speak in one-syllable words to describe a phrase or word, and who doesn't want to smack their friends with the inflatable no! stick. The video for how to play the game made it easy for everyone to learn how to play, and everyone was laughing once we all got the hang of trying to talk like a Neanderthal.

If you like the game taboo, and the thought of hitting people with blowup baths is appealing to you, this game is some thing you need. Just make sure that no one is drinking anything when you smack someone with the bat. Or for sure they will spit out their drink. This game makes you talk like a caveman because you can only use one word syllables and if you say a word with more than one syllable, you get hit with a blow up bat.

This is perfect for a holiday get together. It is SUPER easy and fun. This is the game is ideal for a large group but can be played with a small group. You can use it with family members. You can use it with fifth grade students and up. This game was fun. The fun part occurs when the poet has to use one syllable words in their sentence. It forces the poet to really think before they speak or they get whopped with the soft blow up bat. We had tons of fun! 🤩

My family really enjoyed playing this game so much so we are bringing it to Christmas Eve for more family to try it out. This game is easy to learn the rules by reading but if you like watching or listening to someone explain them Exploding Kittens has a great video on youtube with the rules. The game itself is easy to set up, fun to play and hilarious when someone messes up and gets bonked by the inflatable NO stick! Its a Great game for 7and up and perfect for get togethers.

Poetry for Neanderthals was fun for the whole family. You split into teams, and then you try to get your teammates to guess what words are on your card by using one syllable words. If you gesture or say a multi-syllable word, the person next to you from the opposite team gets to bonk you with an inflatable bat. It was fun to try to guess the words and also to try to give out clues. Some were harder than others, but we all definitely had a great time and lots of laughs.

This game is seriously fun! We had so many laughs playing this game, plus you get to hit your friends with an inflatable club. It's silly, simple, easy to learn, great for teams and different ages, plus it makes you think and be creative! Truly loved the game!

This game was beyond hilarious. Trying to give clues with just one syllable words is crazy, you really have to think about what you're saying so you don't get bonked in the head with the inflatable club, or the NO! stick. The game is very easy to set up and learn how to play. There are 2 teams, Team Glad and Team Mad and they each sit in alternating positions around the table. You pick who is going to be the poet and then the poet decides if they want their team to guess the 1 point word (easy) or the 3 point word (hard) and if you guess the 1 point word and still have time, you can go for the 3 point word, but if you mess up, you lose the point and have to place the card on the oops slate. We all found it very challenging NOT to use multiple syllable words and always seemed to get hit on the head with the club which, I think, we all loved the most. You then have Grok's words of love and sad cards where the winning team goes through their poetry cards and picks their 3 favorites and insert the words into the blanks in the poem. The other team has the NO! stick and decide whether to use it based on the quality of the poem. This is completely opional but still quite fun and hilarious.Everything you need is included, you get 200 poetry cards, 90 sec timer, poet point slate, team point slate, inflatable 2ft club, and 20 Grok's words of love and sad cards.Everyone will love this challenging game and have so much fun playing it, I definitely recommend adding this to your game night.

This game was a great party game! It was similair to Taboo but with a twist; you can only use one syllable words. We had a group of 12 adults clapping to words to check the number of syllables before speaking which was hilarious. And you can't beat bonking your friend's head with a club when they mess up.
