This gives your brain a silly workout as you try to figure out how to give your partner clues while only speaking like a caveman. Keeping all your clues to one syllable is stressful enough but under a time constraint and you have a pretty lively game here! I would definitely choose this over Cards Against Humanity but you have to be feeling a bit wacky and zany to get the most out of this. The inflatable "NO" stick is funny at first but becomes a bit obnoxious as the game goes on. Other than that, a funny party game to play with a family or younger gamers.

This game is seriously fun! We had so many laughs playing this game, plus you get to hit your friends with an inflatable club. It's silly, simple, easy to learn, great for teams and different ages, plus it makes you think and be creative! Truly loved the game!

Poetry for Neanderthals was fun for the whole family. You split into teams, and then you try to get your teammates to guess what words are on your card by using one syllable words. If you gesture or say a multi-syllable word, the person next to you from the opposite team gets to bonk you with an inflatable bat. It was fun to try to guess the words and also to try to give out clues. Some were harder than others, but we all definitely had a great time and lots of laughs.

This is seriously one of my most favorite games. It's fun and hilarious. It's not too difficult to learn, but also not so easy that it's boring. It's a great family game, though a little tricky for young kids. Teens enjoy it, adults enjoy it, both enjoy it together. It's a good group party game. It doesn't take too long, but is long enough to make it worth playing. I just really like it!

I finally got it and played with my boyfriend and his siblings. We are all in our 20s. We had a fun time with the game. It’s easy to understand and makes for a good game night!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really enjoyed this! It reminds me a little of Taboo but simpler and more fun. The kids really enjoyed the blow up club and enjoy that just as much when they AREN'T playing the game lol. Teen boys! This has become a regular game night game. We will be looking into more games from that company!

My family really enjoyed playing this game so much so we are bringing it to Christmas Eve for more family to try it out. This game is easy to learn the rules by reading but if you like watching or listening to someone explain them Exploding Kittens has a great video on youtube with the rules. The game itself is easy to set up, fun to play and hilarious when someone messes up and gets bonked by the inflatable NO stick! Its a Great game for 7and up and perfect for get togethers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This game has an easy concept, but you need to have the right people to play with. We tried out this game with four of us playing, various ages (all adults). Two of us are stronger with syllables and two of us are weaker - I think it would be funner if we were all about the same level? We took turns with the NO stick and the weaker people would let too much slide. It was a struggle for one to come up with one syllable words. Overall, I think this game is not for everyone and would probably pick a different game off the shelf for general audiences. Minor complaints: The NO stick is really hard to blow up. And the how-to video is too long.

Good Time This Game! Poetry for Neanderthals will have you speaking like a caveman in no time. My friends and I had a blast figuring this one out. Super fun and easy once you get the hang of it! Later in the night it got even more fun!! Great Group game!

We had a lot fun playing the game, but definitely watch the video first to understand. My kids really liked the no stick part the most. It's surprising how hard it is to describe something with only one syllable words. Would definitely be a lot of fun with a bigger group of players and maybe a game with some drinks.
