This unit is what it is. It is the better option than the one with the built in screen. This filled our need for a small area "PA" and boom box capability all in one unit and still is portable. It was also cheaper at Walmart than two other stores. i.e. Sears had this on a super door buster special for $79 while the "REGULAR" Walmart price was $59. It works well. What more can we say?!!

We purchased this sight unseen for our 6 year old daughter for Christmas- it was the best 40.00 we have spend in a long time!!! She can use it herself without our assistance, good sound- we have not hooked it up to our TV yet as she can't read, but she sings along with all her favorite cd's and has a blast!!!

This was exactly what I hoped it would be- simple, good quality sound, and works like a charm. It does not seem cheap and works as well as systems that are way more expensive. If you are considering this system, I think that you will be very pleased. We just had a kareoke party and it was soooo much fun. The only downside is that the Kareoke CD's are the expensive part. Also, this only comes with one mic but there is an outlet for another mic (which you can buy for about $15) then people don't feel too intimidated to sing into it if they have someone else singing with them. Note, there is nothing fancy about this (like some of the more expensive machines- fading, etc) but there is an echo button and you can make the background music quieter or louder but that is about it. Still it is great and we love it!

I purchased 5 of these on sale on line for $38.00. 3 went to my grandchilren and great grandchild, a friend bought another, and my daughter bought one for her step-grandson. Now listen, everyone from 3 to 63 enjoyed these Karaoke machines. Easy to use even the 3 year had no problem. Would recommend the machine to anyone who loves music or any adult for hours of fun.

This was a gift for my son from SANTA. I think it works well and met both of our expectations. The only thing missing was the special music CD's that you have to purchase for the words to come up on the screen. Which for some reason I didn't even know existed. My son still sings along with his favorite songs without the words being displayed. Overall very satisfied with the product.

This is a pretty good karaoke machine. It was bought as a christmas present for our 7 year old daughter, but our 10 year old son loved it too. We hooked it up to our surround sound and it was a much better sound! The machine along has an okay quality for the price you can't beat it.

We purchased this for our young daughters (6 and 8) for Christmas and it is a big hit! We already own a nice quality microphone that works well with the unit. Other reviewers mentioned that the quality of the microphone included was an issue. I agree, but our solution was a quick and easy one. Terrific value and a fun product. Highly recommend!

My 5 year old daughter wanted this Desperately for Christmas, and yes, Santa delivered. The whole day she was singing away with it. Her sisters, ages: 6,3, & 2 also can't get enough of it. It's a blast watching them sing and dance. Great item for a great price!

I purchased this for my 10yo daughter and she LOVES it! This is a big hit with her little brother and sister too. Even her dad and I have gotten in on the singing action. This is a great little karaoke machine - easy to operate and just the right size to move around the house. Of course, you do have to plug it into a TV in order to see the words. Only issue I had was site-to-store shipping just barely made the deadline.

I decided on this karaoke machine after reading the reviews. We are thrilled with it! It has fun sound features and the microphone works really well. Wal-Marts cost of only $40 when I bought it was $10 less than any other site. I definitely recommend this especially for kids!
