I bought this item for my granchildren who are 5 & 3. My son and daughter-in-law said the kids love it and they are going to go out and buy and second microphone to keep the fighting to a minimum. I thought the price was excellent and the tone and quality is great.

I would have been really happy with the product except the microphone broke within a week and when I looked it up it seems this is very common. What good is a karaoke machine without a microphone?? Replacements will just break again and it is not compatible with just any microphone which makes the whole thing a waste of my hard earned money, not to mention a sad kid whose birthday present was a bust!!

The karaoke machine sounds good, has a nice echo affect (if wanted), is easily portable with handles, and has 2 microphone inputs, all of which are nice features. However, the unit should allow the singer's voice to be turned louder than it can be. It is difficult to hear your voice even with at full volume, and your mouth must basically be touching the microphone. We have another microphone, purchased separately from the unit and of a different brand, and have the same problem with it. It's a bit disappointing for my kids.

I purchased this for my 10yo daughter and she LOVES it! This is a big hit with her little brother and sister too. Even her dad and I have gotten in on the singing action. This is a great little karaoke machine - easy to operate and just the right size to move around the house. Of course, you do have to plug it into a TV in order to see the words. Only issue I had was site-to-store shipping just barely made the deadline.

Santa brought this for my 6 year old daughter for Christmas and we love it! The sound quality is not the best, but for what we're using it for (some very amateur karaoke) it definitely suits the purpose. I already had a second microphone and adapter, but if you're looking to add the second microphone to the system, you will need an adapter (which actually came free with an additional karaoke CD I purchased at Walmart). I love how the lyrics come up on the television screen-helpful for children learning the songs and adults who forget the lyrics. Overall, this product was exactly what I expected it to be and is well worth the money to give our family an "authentic karaoke experience".

This is an excellent value. The price is great and it is extremely easy to hook up right out of the box. I bought this for my daughter for christmas and she loves it. It is small enough to not be in the way and sounds great. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a cheap karaoke machine that works great.

This is a pretty good karaoke machine. It was bought as a christmas present for our 7 year old daughter, but our 10 year old son loved it too. We hooked it up to our surround sound and it was a much better sound! The machine along has an okay quality for the price you can't beat it.

For the price of the machine I think it is an excellent deal. My kids age 4, 3, 1 love it. They haven't broken it yet, and they are able to run it themselves. I think it is great for kids. I wouldn't recommend it as a sound system for a party, but for kids play it's perfect.

We originally bought a popular character brand karaoke machine. When it arrived we found out it only played cassettes so we shipped it back. Then I found the Singing Machine on Walmart.com for less than the other machine. It is a better quality karaoke machine and it plays CDs! We gave it to our 3.5 y/o for Christmas and she loves it!

I bought this player for a backyard party and it ended up being a hit! Even the older generation had a good time with it. It's very easy to use and sound quality is pretty good, it suprised me. The mic could be a little better quality but you can always use another better quality one. We hooked another mic up with it and had a few duets which was really fun. Highly recommend for the price-it's a good buy!
