Perfect gift

I bought this product for my daughter for her birthday. She had been begging for a karaoke machine for months. I found this and based on the other reviews, thought it would be a bargain. What I found is very poor sound quality. There is not much volume in the unit and the speaker distorts at anything more than minimal volume. I didn't expect a lot for the price but I expected something much better than what I got.

I would NOT recommend this product to anyone unless you really don't care about quality.

Very Poor Quality

I purchased this product because I was going to be in a musical program at our community theatre and had never sang into a mic. Hearing myself sing helped me to refine my solos. The fact that this product hooks up to the TV, as opposed to having one of those tiny screens for people to try to gather around, is a much better system. The only drawback is the mic. Not the best quality and needs a sound muffler on it (a spongy ball to slip over the piece that goes near your mouth).
