I compared similar products from different brands and/or stores, Wal-Mart offered the most value dollar for dollar. My little 6 year old girl wanted a Karaoke machine for Christmas and she is very happy with this one. It is easy for her to use and it comes with some very "cool" features.

I bought this for my kids, ages 3, 5 and 7. Of course, only my 7 yr old can read the lyrics, but we've put in our own music CD's of kids songs so the younger kids could sing along with their favorite kids songs. I would NOT recommend this unit for anyone trying to improve their singing talents, but for a couple of kids who love to hear themselves amplified across the house, it's a fun unit. The microphone mysteriously stopped working after the first week...appears the wiring is sensitive and with kids using the unit, who know's what happened. We purchased another mic for just a few dollars and it works great.

I bought this for my 7 yr old granddaughter who loves to sing in front of the TV. Works great, she loved it and is singing her heart out. Works great with the TV, had no problems connecting it up. I recommend this machine to all. Remember to purchase the Karaoke CD-G's also. It doesn't come with any.

This is a fairly good machine. It's ok for what you pay. The sound quality is not great, but it is loads of fun! I bought it for my 11 yr old disco themed party. THe girls sang karoake all night. IT's great that you can hook up to a TV and see the words instead of on those small screens. A good buy for the money. I recommend it for the price. My girls still use it about 3 times a week - they enjoy it and thats all that matters - keeps them having hours of fun.

I purchased this for my daughters' 11th birthday. She loves to sing and it would have been the perfect gift for her. When we got it all hooked up, she was SO excited to try it out. Her excitement only lasted thru a song and a half when the cd suddenly stopped. Upon further investigation, we found out that something had broken & that the cd would no longer spin. She was really disappointed. Didn't even have time to enjoy it as it only lasted about 5 minutes. Would suggest that you Do NOT buy this product!!

This was purchased for our 8 yr. olds birthday. The kids love it - they sing till their hearts content! Now they've got us all playing & singing along! It's a fantastic "family fun" night treat! Quality is great for the price, isn't cheaply put together. Great for the price. A must have for all kids that like to have fun!

I like it for my kids but not suitable for audlts. The sound and volume is very hard to adjust and don't even metion the echo system. I do like the fact that you can connect it to TV this way the words are easier to read. But I have a hard time with viewing. I don't know if it the machine not reading the CD correctly of the CD being poor. Even though the CDs I have used have been new and originals.

I thought this was a very good purshase, until i got 2 phone call from my mother who i purshased this for; that it wont even turn on. this is the second karoke machine i purshae and they both do not work. i will return this machine tomorrow. thank you

I bought this for my 3 year old grandson. He loves my professional keyboard/mic setup and I thought this would be fun for him. The sound quality is good, it is easy to use and seems to be well made. It is above toy quality and is very reasonable in price.

I purchased this item for my daughter who loves to sing. She uses it daily and puts on shows for the family. I shopped around and this one was the cheapest...and works great! I like that with the volume turned up to the max it is still tolerable to listen to !!!
