Excellent product at a reasonable price. Very tasty on bagels & creme cheese or on salads. We had been buying smoked salmon in other stores — the small 4 oz, or so, packages —this has two sealed packages which gives us much more for a much lower $ per oz.

Hosted a brunch for 30+ people unable to attend my son’s destination wedding. It was a European breakfast buffet, with quiches, scrambled eggs, and a charcuterie that included the smoked salmon. My daughter put out half of one package and said it was enough. It wasn’t! The salmon was the most popular buffet item, and we went through both compartments of the packaging.

Finally Sam's got the version of smoked Atlantic salmon which is the best. Thank you. Get a nice toasted slice of sourdough bread with grass-fed butter on top and put on top a few pieces of smoked salmon and then, finally you will meet your maker.

Growing up in Philadelphia in the 1960's our favorite weekend breakfast was ‘Lox and Bagels' from the corner Deli. This Cold Smoked Atlantic Salmon is almost exactly like that Lox. I think it's a great value considering the cost of Lox even in the 1970's was $5.96 a pound. I am impressed with the quality and preparation of this Lox, it is sliced exactly like I remember.

Family favorite for smoked salmon. Always fresh tasting, no funny after taste like other brands have. The flavor is perfect, just the right amount of salt. Perfect on a bagel for breakfast or on a charcuterie board.

Great salmon, but we prefer the single pack. The problem is that we can't use two packages at one time. If we freeze the second pack for later use, the quality of the salmon declines by becoming mushy and losing color upon rethawing. Thus, it doesn't really pay for us to buy the two-pack. Otherwise this is the best smoked salmon that our family loves!

I hate to be one of those people that compares everything to back East but the flavor is the closest to the taste of lox I used to enjoy way back when. Only thing that you must note, if you don't eat farmed salmon, this one is not for you. However, it sounds like it is responsible farming.

Have been purchasing this item for very long time. Obvious that supplier has changed. Fish is so oily that it was dripping all over and consistency and flavor has changed. Please fix it! Old supplier was top notch!

This new packaging is the inferior product. The slices come off in shreds. And the smoked salmon is not as good quality.The previous product which I bought regularly had nice slices that you can use. I hope they don’t discontinue the previous product, but I’m afraid they’re going to.

Sometimes they are evenly sliced, more often than not, only some pieces are thin and few are ever cut thin enough. Also size shrinking is another gripe. Just charge a little more. The size was historically a one pound package. Then shrank to 14 oz and now to 12 oz but you have to buy 2. Stop messing with a good product and alienating your customers. Fire all your bean counters and packaging engineers .... they don't increase your sales. and fire all your business consultants too. They don't know the real word. Instead talk to the people who stock your shelves.
