Growing up in Philadelphia in the 1960’s our favorite weekend breakfast was ‘Lox and Bagels’ from the corner Deli. This Cold Smoked Atlantic Salmon is almost exactly like that Lox. I think it’s a great value considering the cost of Lox even in the 1970’s was $5.96 a pound. I am impressed with the quality and preparation of this Lox, it is sliced exactly like I remember.

Excellent on bagels with cream cheese or mascarpone with shaved red onions and capers...and also great in a sammich!! I also sometimes enjoy it as sashimi with light shoyu, wasabi, and mirin or rice vinegar. I've also stir fried it and made tacos or an omelette.... Really good stuff.

The best treat ever! I freeze one side and put the other in the fridge and when im feeling snacky I grab a little piece and its soooooo good and satisfying as well as healthy. Also goes perfect with eggs in the morning.

It used to come in one 16 oz package. Now it's in two sealed 12 oz packs. For me this works out better because I throw one in the freezer and eat the other one over a few days. Then, when I'm hungry for more cold smoked salmon, I take the other one out in the morning and put it in the fridge. By lunch time I can enjoy a few slices. It stays fresh for me to the last delicious bite.

I hate to be one of those people that compares everything to back East but the flavor is the closest to the taste of lox I used to enjoy way back when. Only thing that you must note, if you don't eat farmed salmon, this one is not for you. However, it sounds like it is responsible farming.

We really enjoy this smoke salmon and use it for everything from topping bagels and salads to making dips and spreads. Would prefer if it came in a single pack like it did in the past as the second package goes bad before we can use it.

This salmon is a decent value and tastes good. I do wish they would make the package resealable. It's a bit inconvenient to cut it open and not be able to seal it back up.

Good quality (flavor and texture) salmon. its just drenched in oil which makes it feels a bit heavier after, this is unusual compared with the Norwegian salmon slices .

Sam's Club - why did you move to the 2 pack? This has been my favorite smoked salmon for quite some time, but buying 2 packs at a time is too much salmon!! I understand that you want to sell in bulk and potentially make more money, but can you also offer a single pack as an option?
