I would give it 5 stars but I did not because it does have any firm at all. Once you put your head it is a flat pillow. At least you need a little support in your neck and head.

I'm a side sleeper and this pillow is perfect for me. I can't sleep if I'm hot and this pillow does a great job of staying cool and comfortable. Perfect pillow for me and my fellow side sleepers!

The pillow helps with the cervical problems I have with my neck by being the proper height and texture to relieve pressure points. It is hot sleeping, though.
