Where are the holes?

The biggest gripe about the kitchen that I had (ok, not me, but my husband, who assembled the kitchen) was that there were no pre-drilled screw holes. There are only indentations where the screws should go making the use of an electric screwdriver a necessity. Be careful, though! Drill too fast and you can end up making a hole on the other side where no hole should go. The husband put in the screws manually with a regular screwdriver and "man strength". All in all, the kitchen is very sturdy and seems as if it will survive my three-year-old son and can be passed on to our baby daughter.

She Loves It!

I bought this kitchen for my 2-year-old granddaughter for Christmas and she loves it. It is a good size for little ones and simple for them to use - so no frustration. It took longer than expected to put together and a drill was required, but not unmanageable. Just be aware that pilot holes for some screws are not predrilled, nor their location clearly marked. Overall, I am very pleased with the product.

Good kitchen for preschoolers

I ordered this product online and it arrived on-time for site-to-store pickup. The package was in good condition not damaged and it also came with the 101 food play set. When I started assembling I realized I was missing the spoon, fork and knife set. I didn't want to call the customer service for those plastic spoon. I also bought nonstick cookware, stainless steel cookware, bake ware and porcelain teapot and cups in a wholesale store which came with the stainless steel utensils. Assembly was not easy with the screw driver and I decided to go with the electric as recommended option by the manufacturer. It took me more than 2hours to assemble by myself. I am 6month pregnant and with 3 year old help ended up with a back pain. so get some help if you can. When you are screwing the plastic, it moves so quickly (you need some support) so push it against the wall. It makes it easier. I bought this for my daughter for her 3years birthday and she loves it. Everyday she spends hours in her kitchen cooking. The first day, she spend 3 full hours playing. The 101 play foods are very good. The only disadvantage is there is not enough place to keep all the food items that comes with the kitchen. There is no oven rack in the oven, so all the food that she is cooking in the oven is on the oven floor. She also stores some of the food items in the oven. I also bought some extra bins in a dollar store and kept all those extra items for easier storage on the top of the kitchen cabinet. I give it to her before she starts playing and she puts them back properly after she finish playing. The 101 play food items include so many vegetables, fruits, food items like hot dog, pizza and much more. It's really a great deal with the custom kitchen package. Overall very good purchase for the price. No one can beat the price and free shipping to site to store.

I Wish I Had This Kitchen In My House! :)

My grandson is at an age where he watches what we do and likes to imitate what he sees. The Lifestyle Customer Kitchen let's him "cook a meal", "wash dishes", "use the microwave" and "talk on the phone" just like he sees us doing. This is definitely something that he will play with for a long time to come. It's the perfect height and it doesn't take up a lot of space in my house. The quality is excellent and the price was even better. I love that I was able to put it together by myself without taking up a lot of my time. I definitely recommend this product!

My almost 2 year old loves it!

It's only the first day but my daughter hasn't stopped playing with it yet. I put the kitchen together with a screwdriver in about an hour. It was very easy and the directions were simple. I was considering the cheaper homestyle kitchen but after reading the reviews about the assembly process I am very pleased that I chose this one. I recommend this kitchen to everyone.

Awesome Entertainer

We have two children; a five and two year old (a boy and a girl). They absolutely love the Step2 LifeStyle Custom Kitchen. Our children play for hours with it almost daily. It is a great gift to buy if your children like to pretend. Our children love to pretend and this has even helped with their imagination. They love that it makes noises; boiling and sizzling noises because they really think they are cooking. We would recommend this product to anyone with children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

GREAT VALUE!

This kitchen was even cuter than I expected! What a great price too! We bought it for our 14 month old and she loves all of the drawers, cabinets and especially the little phone. We are excited for her to grow into it more, but it definitely exceeded my expectations! A++ It is also very sturdy and uses screws, not little plastic attatchments like a lot of toys.

love it

This kitchen was perfect for the price. My 3 year old son wanted to buy a kitchen with his birthday money and this was the one he chose from the pictures. I was able to assemble it easily without power tools. It is a cute design and he loves that the pots make sizzling and bubbling noises. There isn't much storage for play food so I would recommend a storage tub. The food is not included, but easy to find in stores. Even the box was a great toy while I assembled:-) Now that I am home for summer I expect he will be cooking even more.

Quality not great for the money!

Kitchen is cute and so far my daughter has really enjoyed playing with it. But I'm not sure I would recommend it. The quality is not great. The plastic came very warped. The counter is crooked (because of the plastic being warped), the top piece is indented (and scratched) and the fridge door is slightly warped as well. The only electronic features are the phone and the burner. I wish the faucet, the ice maker, the microwave and/or the stove made some type of noise. Again, my 17 month old likes it so far, but I wonder how soon before she is bored with it.

Kitchen

Love it!!! My 21 month old absolutely loves it too. The only thing that would have been nice to have is more counter space. But the ones that had more were also about twice the price. The sounds that the stove makes is so cool! Well made, sturdy, easy to put together, and VERY cute!
