I got this play kitchen for my nieces 2nd birthday and she absolutely loves it. Once you have assembled and screwed it together it's very sturdy. The material (plastic) is thick and won't break or crack easily. Even though they used higher grade materials it's light enough that my niece won't get serious hurt if it gets tipped over. All the accessories helps her be creative when she's playing with it. Lastly the cost was so affordable and my niece will get at least 3  years of playtime.

I just want to mention that I was 30 weeks pregnant putting this together...that's how easy it really is. It takes some elbow grease with the screws, but that just let's me know that it's not going to fall apart. The starter holes were small, but I didn't expect them to be enormous, again-otherwise the screw may come out and it would fall apart.

Overall my son LOVES his kitchen! It sometimes lets me know when he's up in the morning because I'll hear his stove making sounds, lol. It only took him about a day to figure out where the button to makes sounds came from though, but thankfully he still likes playing with the pans on the burner. The bonus was that my 9 yo also loves playing with her brother in his kitchen. Super double bonus is that it keeps them both out of MY kitchen! lol

This little play kitchen is great and has all sorts of things that make noise like a real one! I love that the burner lights up and makes boiling noises! The kids love playing with it!

Great Product!

Early Christmas gift for toddler who has continuously played with it since getting it. We ended up using a drill for the screws because although there weren't many, it was too hard to put them in by hand for us as the holes are not pre-drilled in the large plastic parts. Great toy so far for the price.

Both of my children, ages 3 and 1 (boy and girl)  love this and will play with it for a good length of time before moving on to something else.  I like all the features for the price and how realistic it is. They are able to do everything they see mommy and daddy do in the kitchen.

Wonderful kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this as a birthday present for my 2 year old and it is perfect! She loves playing with it. Set up was a little difficult, and lots of pieces needed batteries. Overall great purchase!

Great 2nd Birthday present

We purchased this for a Christmas gift, we ended up putting it together because it was shipped non it's original box and my  kiddo's saw it...so kinda bummed about that. But for the cost this kitchen is the perfect addition. A few things that were kind of annoying; it's a good size kitchen but all the shelves and cupboards are tiny, the only "drawer" isn't attached at all and everytime you go to pull it out it falls out which causes everything to fallout. However these things aren't really bothersome to my children. My kiddos love, love, love the sounds and phone. The sounds are the perfect deciple so I haven't had to tell my kids to "stop playing cause it's giving me a headache."

Perfect Fit for Our Family

Not usual quality as I have been purchasing Step2 for over 20 years.
The door on the refrigerator doesn't open and close well at all.  All the utensils were not included.  I emailed Step2 as I was on hold forever, and my response was "call the 800 number".

My kids like it so thats the good part. I think it is quite small for almy 4 and 6 year old height wise. I don't think it is worth $100. I saw some nicer ones for the same price but my 4 year old wanted this one. Maybe putting it on a pallet to lift it up would help with it being so short.
