no surprises =)

I ordered this kitchen for my 2 year old, and it was exactly what I thought it would be. It didn't take long to assemble and it seems sturdy. The stickers are a little complicated to put on, well if you want them straight that is. Lots of places to put your pots and food in. Also a cute little silverwear drawer. Would recomend.

Unexpected surprise!

Received product on time. Assembly was easy. Product sturdy. The front burner doesn't work. The drawer on the right has nothing to keep it from falling out easily. HOWEVER, the 2 y/o granddaughter I bought it for loved it. And surprisingly, my 3 y/o grandson loved it even more!! He plays for hours preparing meals for everyone and calls himself Chef *Grandson*. A second purchase of same product is in the works for him as the rightful owner of the kitchen has now taken it to her house. The kids are happy with it, therefore, I am.

Great for play and the imagination

Love this kitchen. It is narrow and compact enough to fit in our crowded room. But the height is perfect for toddlers and young children. And it packs a punch with all of the features and appliances in a full-sized kitchen. Great price. A lot of bang for the buck. My 2.5 year old LOVES it and gets endless hours of creative and imaginative play in the kitchen. Also love that the colors are neutral (not too offensive or loud, so I'm fine with it being in my living room) and gender neutral for boys or girls.

Daughter LOVES this kitchen!!!!!

Bought this kitchen for my daughter's 1st birthday. Last one in store marked down to $19.00! It was left over from Christmas and they needed to sell it. Never opened on or anything. My daughter LOVES this kitchen. She's almost 1 and a half and still plays with it everyday. Best gift we ever got her! Perfect for 1st birthday! Easy to assemble too!

Hours of fun

My 2 year old grandchildren are enjoying the variety of options/activities. They are playing and pretending especially loving the phone and the cooking sounds. My only real problem is one child likes to open the oven and stand on the open door as she plays. It was easy to assemble.

Very nice!

We got this for our 1 & 2 yr old girls for Christmas. It took about an hour to assemble. The only thing we didn't like was that the draw above the basket comes right out if you pull it far enough. Which translates to everything in that draw falling out all over the place! Other than that its adorable and well worth the money!

2 year old loves it

I put this together and it is a little challenging but not impossible. You definitely need a drill. Mine was missing the utility drawer but I called Step 2 and they sent a replacement immediately - took only days to receive. My daughter loves it and spends a lot of time "cooking." We got a food/pots/pans set to go with it but the only pots that "cook" are the ones that come with it. The sounds are nice but I think she'd love it either way. Walmart.com was $20 less than the competition and we did site to store for free shipping. It was fast.

Hours of Play...

My only complaint about this product was that it was difficult to put together. It didn't have any holes pre-drilled where the screws were supposed to go so it took my husband longer than it should have to put together. Other than that it meets all of my expectations. My daughter loves it and plays with it every day.

Love it!

My 2 year old daughter got this for Christmas and just loves it (so does my 4 year old son)! I had to make her open other presents, she only wanted to play with this!!! Assembly was easy (or so my husband said). There was a broken stove knob, I just spoke with Step 2 and they said I will have a new one in a few days. The women at customer service was great!

Highly Recommended

Purchased for my twins for Christmas 2008. In shopping, I found a variety of kitchens in a variety of prices. My biggest concern wasn't so much the cost, but how usable it would be during play as well as how long it would take me to put it together. This kitchen was priced right in the middle of all that we shopped which was great. The ease of putting together was a plus. It actually took longer to put on the stickers and decals longer than it did to put it together. My boys have played with it for 3 weeks now and love it. Only 1 of the "eyes" makes sound but it does make different sounds depending on whether the frying pan is on or the pot. That being the only drawback I have found, I definitaly reccommend.
