Do not purchase this TV

i bought this tv in july and returned/replaced it in early august, because after a couple of weeks the tv began clicking like an egg timer. the replacement tv worked well for about 10days, at which point it experienced a cascade of failures. first it randomly exited streaming mode, then the tv would not power up. i am currently waiting for a second visit from the repairman. i have purchased 7 samsung hdtvs. over the past couple years, samsung's quality control has declined precipitously. in fact, my two defective q60 were to replace a samsung mu7000 that failed twice in 25months, the second time (screen assembly failure) was out of warranty. the q60 will be the last samsung tv i purchase.

Didn't even last 14 months

samsung seems to be having problems with this tv. it's funny how you spend so much money on it and it goes out right after the warranty is gone. it may possibly cost as much to fix it as to buy a whole new tv! beware samsung does not stand behind their products!

Cant beat QLED

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband is an avid TV guru, and I get to benefit from all the great TV's he gets. This Samsung QLED is no exception, I can't believe crystal clear the picture quality is on this 65" QLED TV. The color pop, the brightness shines and makes it look like you are there. I have seen a few other TVs where the color and saturation do not look real. Samsung out did themselves with the picture quality, the clarity is unmatched. Being that this is the entry level QLED Q60T you would be hard pressed to know it's not the high-end tier model. My husband owns a Q9F 65 and that TV used to outshine all, side by side with the Q60 of same size it's hard to tell them apart in terms of picture quality. The Tizen UI OS is great, I can easily and intuitively find whatever APP I am looking for. The new dark mode makes it easier to navigate to all the Apps out there, including the latest HBOMax app. Being that we are a Samsung household we can easily connect and cast our phones to the TVs without much effort, this comes in super handy when showing friends and family pictures or videos right from our phones. Since we are embedded within the Samsung SmartThings eco system we can now view and control our smart home from the TV itself. I would highly recommend this TV to anyone looking for a great QLED TV that can check off all the wants and needs of you list for a great TV.

Below-average TV for the price

not a fan of this tv. samsung has really ruined it with their 2020 lineup. this model is a step down from the previous years. it is not nearly as bright as my 3+ year old samsung ks8000. the blacks are not as dark. worst part is the smart apps / interface are very very slow - likely because they downgraded the processor. while watching action scenes, there's very noticeable screen tearing, blur, judder etc. it is not a bad tv by any means, but you can do much better for the money. one of the main reasons i bought this is because this was the only decent model i could find for 58-60" size. i wish there were more choices for this size. overall, this is a sub-par tv for the price.

It is a feature designed to eliminate blur and judder on an LED TV, specifically in fast moving images. You can change Auto Motion Plus settings by following these steps: 1) With the TV powered on, press the Home button on the Samsung remote to open the Home screen 2) Then select Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Picture Clarity Settings 3) Then you will see the following three options: a) Off: Picture Clarity Settings will always be off b) Auto: Picture Clarity Settings will automatically activate and deactivate based on the type of program being watched c) Custom: Allows custom adjustments and settings to be used 4) By selecting the Custom option, you can access these advanced settings: a) Judder Reduction: Use the directional keys on the remote to adjust the Judder setting b) LED Clear Motion: Select to turn on/Off/Auto c) Noise Reduction: Select to turn Auto/Off To optimize the smart TV performance, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu. Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care. This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps. I hope this helps to solve your concerns. Beautiful Picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off this TV has a really nice sharp picture. That's what I want in a TV. For my room the sound is good, but a sound bar would certainly help. As for it's smart features, there are plenty of apps to choose from that can be installed. Though as of this time not all that I would like. I do think that the remote was not very well thought out. Less buttons is not more user friendly. When an up/down toggle switch is channel up/down as well as accessibility option menu and CC on/off it's just too much. And the Volume control similarly doubles so that I don't know which buttons do what anymore. And I have now had it 3 months. Would two more buttons really make it seem like it wasn't modern tech friendly. Well less buttons is not friendly. But I do really like this set. There are plenty of optional settings, but I was fine with just a few tweaks during setup. I know what I'm doing with those tweaks since I have worked in TV Production for over 35 years and I didn't need many. The presets were actually pretty good. I would have liked at least one HDMI or the USB connector on the side where it is accessible. But they are all on the back, so once it is mounted on a wall you can just forget about using it.

Excellent user experience!

Bought this tv a few weeks ago to replace a Sony XBR X900E that died at 2 years old (exactly one week after the geek squad plan expired). I dare say that the picture is every bit as good (better?) than the much more expensive Sony, even with edge lighting versus full array! On top of that, the remote and ui design are infinitely better in my opinion. The Sony remotes are offensively awful. This television even integrates more smoothly with my PS4 than the tv of the same brand did! I can hardly say enough good things about my experience with my new Samsung. The only caveat, in my opinion, that it concedes to the previous set is glare. The screen on this television is more susceptible to ambient light sources than my Sony was, however my absolute pleasure watching and using this new Samsung tv eclipses that annoyance, making it minor for me. So, although I was not prepared to have to replace my television, I'm rather glad I did!

Fantastic graphics for immersive viewing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Samsung Q60T 75" QLED Smart 4K UHD TV is fantastic! The big screen size in combination with the Quantum Dot QLED 4K crystal clear screen quality with its vibrant colors provides an incredibly immersive TV viewing and gaming experience. Setup was quick, definitely have two people as the TV is large and heavy. After first turning on the TV it has an easy to follow on-screen guide that helps connect your TV to Wi-Fi, setup Bixby, your virtual assistant by Samsung that lets you conveniently control your TV with voice commands only. The Smart Remote has a button to access Bixby for voice commands, as well as quick access buttons to Netflix, Prime Video and the Samsung Plus TV channels. Many popular music and TV streaming apps come pre-installed and appear on the main menu screen. Simply log into your account and you're ready to stream. This TV automatically scanned and installed over-the-air free TV channels. Another awesome feature are the Samsung TV Plus channels, a variety of free, ad-sponsored categories to watch. From live news, to funny videos, outdoor adventures and nature, cooking, true crime and cartoons, there is something for everyone. I love the TV's sleek, modern look, it's very thin and almost frame-free. You can choose a background color and artwork piece to display in your home and create an eye-catching stunning focal point to impress family and guests. Picture and sound can easily be adjusted with pre-set modes for sound, either amplified effects for movies, or amplified voice, great for documentaries. You can also add your own sound bar. So disappointed

if i could leave negative stars i would!!!!!!!ordrred a tv 1st one screen distorted 2nd tv same . the 3rd tv wouldnt connect to wifi the 2 nd day. went thtough all the troubleshooting etc etc. all my other tv's and devices connect except you guessed the samsung tv. 3 strikes you're out. based on my experince ill never buy another samsung tv. paid top dollar for trash im so disappointed.3 tvs seriously!!!!

You may want to go through these steps to check your network connection: 1) Make sure that no items that can generate electromagnetic interferences are placed between the TV and the wireless/wired access point. 2) Check if the access point is turned on. If it is on, turn it off, wait 1 or 2 minutes, and then turn it on. Enter the correct password if required. 3) If the wireless connection fails, connect the TV to the access point via a LAN cable. If the TV can connect to the Internet normally via the wired connection, there might be a problem with the access point. In this case, try using a different access point. 4) Perform a network test to check if there is a network problem. Press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis> Smart Hub Connection Test 5) Try a cold reboot of your TV by pressing and holding the power button for 5+ seconds until the TV turns off and on again. Picture with yellow vertical bars

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Samsung 75" TV. The first one lasted for 1.5 years. The picture started to deteriorate with white clouds, bars and lines until there was no picture at all. Got a new one (this model) three weeks ago and the picture shows at all times two yellow vertical bars on the left side of the TV. One is about 10" wide and the other about 3". They run from top to bottom. Samsung authorize me to return it to the store and the store agreed to exchange it for a new one or refund me the money but I have to take it back, which is a real hassle due to its size. Terrible experience.
