I did get the pedestal bc I had it on my old dryer and I am used to it being higher. I do think they charge too much for that, I won't get it again. I like the lint trap . It is fully encased so it seems like that will help with lint getting caught in the tubing that goes out from the house. No complaints at all.

The color is beautiful, a black with gold that looks spectacular and very modern. It has a SmartThinks application where I can manage my appliances as I want, program and monitor how the process is going, I receive notifications when the cycle has finished, with this dryer you will definitely save energy ENERGY STAR Certified, so you use less energy without sacrificing performance or functionality), it has an internal light and is quite spacious, you can dry more clothes in less time, it is quite silent and does not move.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how Samsung is able to combine design and function into a product. It looks amazing and performs great. Like the washing machine it fits better in closets compared to other brands. It has a lot of options and presets to chose from. Sensor dry also works very good and Wi-Fi helps with all of it. If you plan to stack them, the door is reversible so they both open the same way. It even has a lint filter indicator to remind you about it and not start a fire. Steam sanitize is great and steam dry helps a lot with wrinkles. It is great, especially as a set with the washer and just makes everything easy and straight forward.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this dryer a month and a half ago, it since has told us our vent was partially clogged, which we did not know prior, we fixed this issue and this dryer is faster, and far more efficient than any other I've had experience with. Bedding and heavy items are no problem for this unit, and on top of all that, the unit has an absolutely gorgeous color scheme!

I have the dryer linked to the SmartThings app so I get notified that the dryer has finished. Today I used the REFRESH steam function to freshen up some drapes. Such a great feature! I have been pleased with all of the options available and have been very happy to own this machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought electric dryer DVE50BG8300VA3 (with the matching washer), adding yet another Samsung product to our home! The dryer is surprisingly fast. Having a dryer with the steam freshen function is a new experience and seemed to work on white linens. The app was easy to set up and use, worked the first time. We have children and the cleanign quality of this set has definately been put to the test. The controls are straight forward; there are almost too many cycle options. I particularly like the ability to control the stem cycles. The extra large capacity certainly shows and can handle any load that fits in the washing machine. Historically I have preferred gas dryers, but this is challenging my assumptions about electric! The unit is also surprisingly quiet during operation. You won't regret this purchase!

This one also has steam dry feature which is really nice all it takes is a water line hook up in the back and it's good to go. It works great on Wi-Fi and the smart things app it's great to know exactly when the clothes are done drying in the machine. The vibration reduction technology works! It is a very quiet dryer, as is the washer. I have tried the normal cycle, bedding. It looks great I like how well it matches the washer machine and how the glasses turn it out so it looks a little bit nicer it's also energy star.

It would not try the full cycle if we put it on for 60 minutes it would stop after 10:00 and we'd have to go down and reset it that has seemed to resolve itself. One thing I will tell anyone who's thinking of buying Samsung's "smart" washer and dryer, you can indeed use your phone to control the washer and dryer however one caveat that is not in the description is you have to physically touch smart control on the washer or dryer in order to enable the features on your phone so there's really no point in using the features on your phone You might as well go down to the dryer or washer and use those controls since you still have to in order to control it on your phone

The dry time is longer than usual but I am thinking it's an energy saving thing and maybe it does not get as hot as the older dryers. So far no real complaints and I am very satisfied with the purchase.
