Great Upgrade
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First thing I have to say is this dryer looks great. I know that is not very important but it does look good. There are a lot of different drying cycles to choose from. I really enjoy the refresh cycle. It is one of the two steam cycles. If you have forgotten your clothes are dry this cycle will remove the wrinkles. I did discover you should allow the cycle to complete. I removed my clothes early and they were damp. The smart technology allows me to monitor the status of the drying cycle from my refrigerator. Kind of cool. Overall I am very impressed with this dryer. I would definitely recommend this dryer.
Dryer of my Dreams
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we bought the samsung wf50bg8300avus washer and matching electric dryer dve50bg8300va3 and the exterior design is very sleek. the dryer is surprisingly fast, even compared to our old gas dryer. having a dryer with the steam freshen function (the dryer has its' own water line!), a first for me, worked well and fluffed up a load i accidentally left in the dryer for 2 days. the dryer also handled a large bedding load no problem, with no excessive vibration. the lint trap is easy to clean and the controls are straightforward. historically i have preferred gas dryers, but this is challenging my assumptions about electric! this dryer and matching washing machine are stackable. the app was easy to set up and use, worked the first time. you won't go wrong with this model.

Stay Clear of Samsung Products! Purchase a Dryer on February 16th, 2024. The lid for the lint collector spring failed. Contacted Samsung and they said that they do not warrant their own manufacturing failures. Not even 90 days! Thankfully I purchased this with my CitiBank so I will make a claim through them!

does not complete the job
This dyer was delivered in the fall or 2024 but we did not start using it regularly until November. It looks great and has interesting settings and some flexibility. But for some reason most of the time it stops too quick and leaves the clothes still damp. It does not matter what setting is used, how well the clothes are sorted and how much or little the load is, some of the clothes are always damp. We end up restarting the cycle 2 or 3 more times to get the job done. It's very frustrating. I don't know if it's a sensor issue, a design issue or some malfunction, but clearly this is unacceptable.

Limited settings
I’ve had this dryer a couple years and it still works about the same. My biggest complaint is with the presets and not being able to change the temperature of the dry cycle. You can only change it if you do a timed dry. So if you like to use an auto stop you have to dry your clothes on a hot setting. My old dryer was able to sense the clothes being dry on any heat seating.

Great dryer with awesome smart features

We have a family of six and a lot of laundry and this dryer takes what was once an annoyance and make it much more manageable. First off, this dryer has a lot more space than most out there. With the amount of laundry we deal with, this is such a time saver for us, as it can handle bigger loads without issue. Another plus is the smart features it has. Once I start a load, I can walk away and get alerts on my phone when the load of wash is done. Gone are the days of getting busy and forgetting clothes in the dryer only to have them all wrinkled from sitting. Now I always know when the load is done and get the cloths hung and folded. The dryer has a great feature called sensor dry. This will monitor moisture in the dryer making sure not to over dry the clothes, keeping them looking newer, while also saving money on power. The next major time saver is the steam sanitize option to freshen up a shirt for the kids, instead of having to spend time going through an entire cycle. Being able to throw in a few clothes before taking the kids to a friend’s house is nice. Another nice feature this dryer has is a vent sensor. It monitors the air vent for obstructions keeping it running at its best as well as safe from fire hazards. Lastly it looks as my husband says, handsome and regal. All these things added together allow me to spend more time getting other things done and save me extra work. I now have more time to spend with the family doing things we enjoy, and it is thanks to this dryer.
Samsung Appliances Don't Hold Up
Want to pay 1200+ for something that doesn't last. Buy this! They don't have a single certified tech in my state, and Your local techs wont be able to fix small problems on it. I totally regret having this as a washer. just waiting for the dryer to go out too......

Nice Dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice dryer. I ordered the washer also and they look so great together. I love that it notified me of any vent blockages and stuff like that. I honestly feel that is a lifesaving feature. A relative of mine once had a vent blockage catch fire so I feel this is an important feature. My clothes are dry and wrinkle free and I love the little song.
So far, I love it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love my new dryer. Lots of drying options ! The dryer works quickly and it is beautiful. I did get the pedestal bc I had it on my old dryer and I am used to it being higher. I do think they charge too much for that, I won't get it again. I like the lint trap . It is fully encased so it seems like that will help with lint getting caught in the tubing that goes out from the house. No complaints at all.

The replaced dryer also had too much drum noise. Again, requested for replacement. This time Samsung declined to replace; however, they are able to price match with same items as new order. Finally, this worked and good so far.
