[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We ordered this dryer to replace a 5 year old model and the difference is noticeable. This dryer looks far better, has far more options/customization, and is paired with a handy app. Starting with the looks, the rose gold and black on the model we ordered looks fantastic. No more white dryer that looks like it belongs in the 1990's! The controls and dials are easy to use, feel well made, and look nice. The dryer has all the usual cycles you'd expect-- included steam sanitize and a steam cycle to remove wrinkles. In addition you can really dial things in with 5 dryness levels and temp settings. One thing I didn't expect to like as much as I do is the Samsung SmartThings app that this pairs with. It gives you another interface to customize your drying cycle-- which is alright, but you can do the same thing with the controls on the front of the dryer. however, the standout feature is the push alerts. You can glance at the app and see how much time is left on the cycle and you'll get a notification when your clothes are done. You don't even have to be on the same wifi network (as long as the dryer is on your home's wifi, it'll work)-- so no more forgetting the clothes in the dryer for way too long and having all your shirts wrinkled. As soon as it is done, you know. Overall, it looks good, works great, and I never knew I could be this excited about a dryer, lol!

There are a lot of different drying cycles to choose from. I really enjoy the refresh cycle. It is one of the two steam cycles. If you have forgotten your clothes are dry this cycle will remove the wrinkles. I did discover you should allow the cycle to complete. I removed my clothes early and they were damp. The smart technology allows me to monitor the status of the drying cycle from my refrigerator. Kind of cool. Overall I am very impressed with this dryer. I would definitely recommend this dryer.

There are multiple settings are available to select from, and the product can be added to Samsung app on phone, SmartThings (smart home platform) Overall, a great smart experience with this great product.

Overall, this dryer looks beautiful, but that’s where the positives end. Functionally, it’s been frustrating. It took us a while to figure out that the Eco Dry feature was the problem—our clothes weren’t getting dry and often ended up smelling musty. We eventually learned to turn Eco Dry off, but the biggest annoyance is that you have to disable it every single cycle. Even worse, the dryer frequently makes a loud thump and shuts off mid-cycle. Something seems wrong with the drum. Sometimes I can get it going again by turning the drum and waiting, but it’s inconsistent and unreliable. I regret buying this dryer. I don’t usually leave reviews, but I wish one like this had been available when I was deciding on this purchase.

Stay Clear of Samsung Products! Purchase a Dryer on February 16th, 2024. The lid for the lint collector spring failed. Contacted Samsung and they said that they do not warrant their own manufacturing failures. Not even 90 days! Thankfully I purchased this with my CitiBank so I will make a claim through them!

Sorry, service actually matters...alot. DO NOT buy anything from Samsung. I took time off waiting for this product, along with the washer and a refrigerator. Two weeks after I was supposed to get it...nothing. I have asked for it to be canceled multiple times...nothing. Make sure to read the comments and listen to horror stories. Samsung DOES NOT care!!!!
