I bought this in November of 2023, and I was surprised to see the cheap plastic ring that holds the rope for the ball, I thought that would be the first thing to break, but it wasn't, the ball was the first thing to come apart from the string, it's only held up by Fabric, I'm actually surprised that it lasted this long before ripping

We have used Lifetime products (from tables to basketball hoops) for years and always loved their stability and durability.  We have several of our kids that love tetherball, however they are big teenage boys now and we felt like we would have to bury the pole in order to get it stable enough and so we never bought one. But Lifetime was able to step up to the plate and design a tetherball pole that can handle the centrifugal force our teens will put it through!  The new stabilizer kit seems simple enough, but it provides incredible stability.  In the pictures, our 5ft 9in 14-year old is facing off with his 6ft 15-year old brother, and you can see that the base isn't lifting and the pole is holding true.  The other picture is our 10-year old showing off his win against Dad! The system is very easy to put together and you can be ready to play in 20 or 30 minutes.  We just used water to fill the base and it worked well enough.  Sand would make it even more solid.  We have a nice open area in the back that our kids are always walking past, and it only takes a few minutes to hurry and play a game and assert who is king of tetherball on your way through!  Love the system and love Lifetime.  Thanks for taking a classic and making it work so well!

We purchased this tetherball set two years ago, I called asking for replacement parts for the cap that holds the tetherball on. They did all the work for me finding the parts and making sure they were the right ones, then informed me there would be no charge! Definitely the kind of company you will want to buy from!!

Quality product, nice soft ball, provides for lots of hours of fun for the kids outside in all ages yet. Easy to move to mow around by rolling it on edge yet super sturdy and unable to dump over- has withstood 60 mph winds without difficulty during storms.

i bought this as a Christmas present for our 7 yr old grandson. Within 3 months the pole became Unstable and listed. loosely at a 45degree angle. I kept tightening the base bolts at the base until the were extended past the base bottom. This made the base even more unstable. I had to shorten the bolts by cutting them. The only children using this were 7/8 yr olds and grandpa. The base had 220 lbs. of dry sand. I'd place a picture but it times out.

It took less than 30 minutes to put together. We stabilized ours with water and it doesn't budge even in the height of a game. My favorite feature is the mobility of the product. We can move it around the yard easily.

My daughter got this as a Christmas present a few years ago and just loves it. It has stayed outside and endured much rain, wind, and snow. There has been no signs of aging or rust, which Is wonderful. It's such a great quality of material. Our family loves a good competition and this tetherball has allowed us to make many happy and laughable memories.

I called to get a replacement tetherball for our Lifetime pole. We’ve had this in our backyard for many, many years. The kids love to play it. It’s always a great piece of entertainment when others come to visit. The gentleman on the phone was very helpful and shipped a new ball with string and a clasp at no charge. The package came way sooner than expected. I am very pleased with the service.

We had this set up on the driveway and would come home to find any kids walking by stopping to play! It's a great product and provides hours of fun for everyone. Our only issue was that the seams on the ball eventually came apart. We have since replaced it.

We got this new tetherball system to upgrade/replace our old one and we love it! Our old system was just a pole in the ground in the middle of our backyard. The best thing about this new system is the portability! We were able to use it in our backyard and then immediately move it to the front yard to include neighbor kids! The stabilizer kit is great. It stayed upright and stable whether it was a kid or adult playing. We filled the base with water, but plan to replace it with sand before the winter hits to avoid any freezing concerns. Assembly instructions were a bit confusing, especially when installing the split collar, but we figured it out and it was smooth sailing from there. We love having this new system and highly recommend it to anyone considering it!
