My 7 year old tried these. While they got her to sleep quickly, they wore off almost just as quickly and she was up and down all night, averaging about 2 hours asleep, then over 2 hours awake (in a dark, restful room), cycling off and on. Typically she has some trouble falling asleep but will remain sleep through the whole night. Now the whole house is sleep deprived so we are switching her back to her previous brand to try to get her back on schedule.

Both seemed to sleep well all night and woke up refreshed the next morning. Neither of them seemed to like the taste of the gummy. Maybe it is just the berry.

If we have done a lot of exciting things during the day it seems it is harder for them to sleep (going to a birthday party or the park etc.) I decided to give these a try just for night where they can not sleep. I read the directions and it says 1 to 2 gummies 30 minutes prior to bedtime, but I waited until they just would not go to sleep. Within the 30 minutes of taking them they were sleeping. They would wake up to go potty, which I was happy about since I have never given my children things like this, but went straight back to sleep. They woke up in the morning for school with no grogginess or irritation. They smell amazing. It says the flavor is raspberry and it does smell just like blue raspberry candy. I am very happy with how well these work and how handy they are for restless nights.

This is a great alternative to straight Melatonin. These do help my son fall asleep and stay sleeping through the night. He isn't groggy the next morning when he's getting up for school. I like that the ingredients are clean. The raspberry flavor is also good they smell amazing. They come in a nice big bottle that has a very secure top which you have to twist open. I like that it is child proof so kids cannot get into the container.
