Country Crock used to have some flavor to it and it would stay on your knife when trying to spread, now it's a battle just to get it from the tub to the item. It also ruins muffins and anything toasted that had some crunch to it but now it's all soggy like a glass of water was poured onto it. I will be changing to another brand or back to butter. Very disappointed!

For the past 20 years that I have walked this earth, my family has always purchased Country Crock. A few weeks ago, we purchased a nice, new square tub of your margarine. I noticed that the packaging stated it was a new recipe, and I ignored it, not knowing the horror that was about to befall me. The next morning, I made breakfast for myself using your new "margarine" spread. What I thought would be a lovely, buttery bagel turned out to be a foul, stomach-curdling mouthful of sadness. After this incident, I have had multiple people try the new simple recipe and they all agree completely with my opinion. I have since had to switch brands, and I will NEVER buy that concoction that you call new and simple ever again. The whole tub was thrown away and the money spent was wasted. I would give it -5 stars if I could. Bring back the old recipe.

If my kids even notice that this butter is different then you know that this is a poor excuse to making this butter better. I think personally they were trying to go a cheaper route to sell more and make more money. I am so not happy at the slightest. We only buy country crock and this will never ever happen again. It melts and tastes just like the generic butter you buy from the grocery store. It makes my food look so gross that i do not even want to eat it. I will be contacting costumer service when they are opened bc i am highly disappointing. I now have to switch brands. I will never buy this product ever again until you guys fix your mistake and make it back like it use to be. Then and only then will we buy it. We loved this margarine and when it swiched to a new container. I new that that was not the only thing they changed. They changed the recipe and used cheaper ingredients. Go back to the old recipe or you will be loosing so many costumers. By the looks of these reviews you may even go out of business. This stuff is AWFUL!!!

I have used Country Crock original my entire adult life. I am disappointed that you changed the recipe. The taste is totally different. I've also used your other products & loved those as well. I use my butter in most everything. Please bring back the original.

I have an autistic child that eats very few things, and one of them is toast. He loves to have toast for breakfast before school. The only butter that he likes is the original Country Crock in the round tub. He hates the New Simple Recipe, tried it once and now he no longer eats toast for breakfast. In fact most days he does not eat breakfast anymore, just a glass of milk. We all tried it and no one in the family liked it. Its sad that this happened. I do not know the motives behind the change to the New Simple Recipe, and understand the desire to improve your products, but why eliminate the old recipe? Would it be too much to ask to offer both old and new recipes?

I love the new shape but, I hate the taste. What did you do to it??? Why, oh, why did you have to change the recipe...if I cannot find the round tub with the "original" taste, I will have to find something else to use. Please change your minds and "drop" the new recipe and go back to the original taste instead.

This new product is not good! There is something wrong with it! Flavor is bad and it doesn't melt.. It makes everything taser like a chemical flavor . I know you say no plans to go back to old recipe.. I have all ready noticed many reaching for other products since the change. We have switched

I used to put country crock on everything. I loved it more than regular butter. This new original formula is the absolute worst! It makes it seem like the butter is sour. I wish they didn't mess with the original flavor and in turn created a new flavor for this horrible excuse for butter. I'm so heartbroken, I can never have the delicious taste of the REAL original country crock ever again. Won't be buying this again.

I hate the new recipe. I have been a loyal fan of this product. I will have to go buy another spread. My family did not like it. We want the old country Crock back. You are going to loose a lot of business . The taste is aweful . Will not be buying this spread again .

I have been a loyal customer of country crock since I was a teen. I even got my in laws to use. it. Every person I've talked to that has tasted the new formula has agreed its horrible. It was embarrassing to my wife for making cookies for a friends party and people hated them. They used to be a hit.
