I feel like I have only used Country Crock since spreadables came about. I tried all the different "spreads" but always went back to the original. Last week I saw what was I thought the "new" container and thought great, will fit in my frig better. DID NOT READ NEW SIMPLE RECIPE!!! Hate it,, hate it, have tried using several times and my family keeps asking what did I do to the butter. I did nothing but put it in the trash last night. New does not alwalys mean better.

For the past 20 years that I have walked this earth, my family has always purchased Country Crock. A few weeks ago, we purchased a nice, new square tub of your margarine. I noticed that the packaging stated it was a new recipe, and I ignored it, not knowing the horror that was about to befall me. The next morning, I made breakfast for myself using your new "margarine" spread. What I thought would be a lovely, buttery bagel turned out to be a foul, stomach-curdling mouthful of sadness. After this incident, I have had multiple people try the new simple recipe and they all agree completely with my opinion. I have since had to switch brands, and I will NEVER buy that concoction that you call new and simple ever again. The whole tub was thrown away and the money spent was wasted. I would give it -5 stars if I could. Bring back the old recipe.

i have been buying your product for 15-20 years, do not like this new formula. why would you change a best selling product? Don't you remember when coke did it and had to change back to the old formula. I will be buying another brand from now on. I also hate this new flimsy container.

Our family used to love the old recipe and almost exclusively bought country crock. But the new recipe is so horrid we will NEVER buy country crock ever again, unless they see the error of their ways and change back the recipe. unfortunately a rating less than 1 is not possible taste would be -2

When they changed the recipe, they changed the taste...my family was a very loyal consumer (there were no others) before the change and literally every member of my family now detests it. I wish for the old taste to return. If it's not broke, why fix it? I'm so disappointed!

Apart from it being a contradiction in terms, this new "original" Country Crock tastes nothing like the original. It is not an improvement. It is, quite frankly, more than disappointing it is practically inedible - such a shame - used to love the "original" Original. Time say goodbye to an old friend - time to switch brands I'm afraid.

I have never been so disappointed in a "new recipe" product. My daughter and I have used Country Crock for more years than I can remember; however, that has now changed. Apparently, like the majority who have reviewed this new product, I no longer will be using Country Crock "new recipe" as I had to throw away the one and only one purchased. It appears to me that your company won't be around much longer if this new product is left on the shelves. This is truly a shame as you are disappointing the largest majority of your faithful customers. Hope to see the true original Country Crock back sooner than later.

Country Crock is the only margarine my family has ever used for as long as I remember. This new County Crock margarine is inedible and now we don't have a margarine we can buy that isn't trying to taste like butter. Please consider going back to the original Country Crock taste.

few days age we bought a tub of the Country Crock Original that was there NEW RECIPE. Opened the container and spread it on some french bread. At first I thought maybe my taste buds had gone hay-wire. To make this a short story I compaired the new container with one I still had and saw the NEW RECIPE Original had made few changes with the ingredients which to me was a bad idea because this Original NEW RECIPE taste is TERRIBLE.

Been a loyal customer from the begining. I agree with everyone Why the change, you had a great marigine only one on market that was the best. But now cannot eat it hate the taste, bad after taste, throwing out the tub I just bought. Bring back the real original, listen to your customers who have loved your product all these years. People buy when product is good. This is just BAD! Wll not recommend this product to anyone. Hope in the near future that you decide to change back.
