My wife and I have used original recipe for 20+ years and this has got to be the worst change of all. This isn't like changing a salt or soda. This changes literally everything we eat! Now since the spreads have all changed we are forced to find an alternative. Even something as simple as morning toast has a nasty aftertaste. Not to even mention trying to use it in recipe's or cook dinner with. Bad move Unilever. If it's not broke, don't fix it!

This new simple recipe is disgusting! Even when cooked into food it tastes like chemicals! BAD decision to make that switch, especially taking the old stuff off the market! My family is extremely unhappy!! I would score 0 stars if I could! I have tried ALL of the new kinds and threw them all away!

Our family used to love the old recipe and almost exclusively bought country crock. But the new recipe is so horrid we will NEVER buy country crock ever again, unless they see the error of their ways and change back the recipe. unfortunately a rating less than 1 is not possible taste would be -2

Apart from it being a contradiction in terms, this new "original" Country Crock tastes nothing like the original. It is not an improvement. It is, quite frankly, more than disappointing it is practically inedible - such a shame - used to love the "original" Original. Time say goodbye to an old friend - time to switch brands I'm afraid.

If my kids even notice that this butter is different then you know that this is a poor excuse to making this butter better. I think personally they were trying to go a cheaper route to sell more and make more money. I am so not happy at the slightest. We only buy country crock and this will never ever happen again. It melts and tastes just like the generic butter you buy from the grocery store. It makes my food look so gross that i do not even want to eat it. I will be contacting costumer service when they are opened bc i am highly disappointing. I now have to switch brands. I will never buy this product ever again until you guys fix your mistake and make it back like it use to be. Then and only then will we buy it. We loved this margarine and when it swiched to a new container. I new that that was not the only thing they changed. They changed the recipe and used cheaper ingredients. Go back to the old recipe or you will be loosing so many costumers. By the looks of these reviews you may even go out of business. This stuff is AWFUL!!!

After what seems like 20yrs, I've discontinued using country crock. The new recipe is horrible and none of my family members like it at all. We've found another brand that has a great taste. Up until the new recipe, thanks for the many years of a great tasting product.

Tried your "new" spread; dumped it after one day. Watered down to the point where in less than 5 minutes out of the fridge, it won't even stay on the knife, and turns liquid at room temperature. Like Toyota and their "new" gas pedal; it wasn't broke, but they decided to fix it anyway. If and when you go back to the ORIGINAL product, broadcast the announcement. I changed brands.

I have been using Country Crock for years. This week I had to throw away this new one and buy the store brand butter. I will no longer purchase Country Crock until they change it back. Absolutely horrible. Wish I could get my money back. I think this will definitely hurt them financially. Good luck keeping your loyal customers. This one is gone.

Country Crock used to be my favorite tub butter, not any more, it taste yuck!! How can you call this original, when you have change the formula. I have bought country crock original for many years. I guess all good things comes to a end. Time to search for another tub butter. And it won't be country crock.

I have six boys who are huge fans of breakfast. We have been using country crock for 17 plus years and go through a big tub of the calcium spread a week. Now, my grocery store doesn't even have that version, the original recipe is our backup but this new recipe is disgusting. The looks on my boys faces after they tasted their waffles with this new stuff on it is heart breaking. Please scrap this stuff. It isn't good. I'm not happy about finding a new brand, but I assure you I am not buying this new recipe of yours again.
