Unacceptable product

Tried your "new" spread; dumped it after one day. Watered down to the point where in less than 5 minutes out of the fridge, it won't even stay on the knife, and turns liquid at room temperature. Like Toyota and their "new" gas pedal; it wasn't broke, but they decided to fix it anyway. If and when you go back to the ORIGINAL product, broadcast the announcement. I changed brands.

Country Crock, Original .. New Recipe

few days age we bought a tub of the Country Crock Original that was there NEW RECIPE. Opened the container and spread it on some french bread. At first I thought maybe my taste buds had gone hay-wire. To make this a short story I compaired the new container with one I still had and saw the NEW RECIPE Original had made few changes with the ingredients which to me was a bad idea because this Original NEW RECIPE taste is TERRIBLE.

what happened to the country crock?

My mom used Country Crock all the time when I was a kid, so naturally I continued to use it as an adult. I rarely use butter. Well, I'm not sure what to do now. I picked up the "new" Country Crock from the grocery store the other day and was instantely concerned since the container looked different. I quickly calmed myself down and thought the new square container is just that, a new container - possibly making it easier to store in the fridge. So, I used it the other day and was, am, so upset with the NEW Simple recipe! It's so weird! It doesn't melt the same way it used to and begins to burn quickly in the pan. It gunks up easily and sticks to the food like grilled cheese or something. It's freaking me out! I use this when cooking all the time. What happened tothe Country Crock??? I cannot use it anymore and that's disappointing. I'm not sure what I need to use - maybe just plain butter? I wish the recipe would stay the same and I could continue using it.

Disgusting!

I have been using Country Crock original for years. Imagine my surprise when I taste my toast and it was DISGUSTING! Why would you change it, still call it ORIGINAL and put "new simple recipe" on the package?? Congratulations, you have lost a customer and I have no margarine available to buy, I dislike it all. If it wasn't Country Crock, I didn't eat it. Yuck! Why did you mess with perfection?

Ruins EVERYTHING I put it on

After YEARS of purchasing CC imagine my dismay of opening my new 5LB tub and practicality gagging on my corn. I thought it was spoiled. Then I noticed the little notice in the corner of a "new simple recipe", simply disgusting is more like it. I will NEVER purchase again and I'm sure I'm not alone. I preferred the old recipe over butter! You have different "flavors" but you get rid of the ORIGININAL, are you kidding me???? Someone dropped the ball and I'm dropping you.

Whyyyyyyyyy?!?!?!?!?

As a chef, restaurant owner, and long time consumer with zero extra time in my hands, I feel compelled to write a review. At first, we hated the new container. It is flimsy and cheap. I thought maybe that is why the spread inside was so runny.... Perhaps the thin container allowed the contents to come to warm temperature quicker. So I went on a scavenger hunt in my city buying up all the round tubs. During this time, several dairy managers shared their disdain in regard to the tubs and that people were complaining about the new Country Crock. While on my last, glorious round tub, I transferred some of a new one into the old tub and realized that this was indeed a new recipe. And it is is just terrible. While I prefer real butter, my customers enjoy familiarity on their toast. Plus, I grew up on Country Crock and it is far more affordable in my cafe. Guess it's time to buy Blue Bonnet... Or pony up for the real stuff. I cannot serve this runny, yellow, artificial tasting gunk to my customers. So, please, please, Country Crock developers and executives... Time to review your recipe and perhaps try some due diligence this time.

Awful "New Recipe" Taste

We have used original Country Crock forever. I bought it in small square containers for a motor home trip, not realizing the recipe had been changed. It was terrible and I thought I must have gotten an old or rancid batch and threw them out. I bought more and realized that was the "new" taste. It is inedible and we are trying out new brands of margarine. Thus far, we have not found anything we like quite as well as the old original Country Crock, but nothing we've tried tastes as bad as the "new recipe."

The new recipe is terrible.

I have six boys who are huge fans of breakfast. We have been using country crock for 17 plus years and go through a big tub of the calcium spread a week. Now, my grocery store doesn't even have that version, the original recipe is our backup but this new recipe is disgusting. The looks on my boys faces after they tasted their waffles with this new stuff on it is heart breaking. Please scrap this stuff. It isn't good. I'm not happy about finding a new brand, but I assure you I am not buying this new recipe of yours again.
