When they changed the recipe, they changed the taste...my family was a very loyal consumer (there were no others) before the change and literally every member of my family now detests it. I wish for the old taste to return. If it's not broke, why fix it? I'm so disappointed!

We have purchased our last tub of Country Crock. I just don't understand why these companies don't get it. We don't want the thing we have been eating for the last 20 years changed. If we wanted to eat something that tasted different we would have bought something different. If the old recipe wasn't as good for me "I don't care". Not everyone is a health nut that worries about every gram of sugar or calories that go into our mouths. We simply want to enjoy the taste. When you go back to the "Real ORIGINAL" I will be back, until then sayonara.

This new simple recipe is disgusting! Even when cooked into food it tastes like chemicals! BAD decision to make that switch, especially taking the old stuff off the market! My family is extremely unhappy!! I would score 0 stars if I could! I have tried ALL of the new kinds and threw them all away!

I used to absolutely love country crock! It's all my husband would eat.I just bought your new container of it and I absolutely hate it! It doesn't even remotely taste like the old one. I will probably never buy your product again if it stays like that!

Feel like I was misled when I purchased the product with new packaging and it said "Original". My family won't eat it. There's a distinct taste difference. I appreciate a healthier recipe, but if my family won't eat it it doesn't matter. If the product does not go back to the original packaging and original recipe, I'll have to change brands.

My wife and I have used original recipe for 20+ years and this has got to be the worst change of all. This isn't like changing a salt or soda. This changes literally everything we eat! Now since the spreads have all changed we are forced to find an alternative. Even something as simple as morning toast has a nasty aftertaste. Not to even mention trying to use it in recipe's or cook dinner with. Bad move Unilever. If it's not broke, don't fix it!

I have been using Country Crock original for years. Imagine my surprise when I taste my toast and it was DISGUSTING! Why would you change it, still call it ORIGINAL and put "new simple recipe" on the package?? Congratulations, you have lost a customer and I have no margarine available to buy, I dislike it all. If it wasn't Country Crock, I didn't eat it. Yuck! Why did you mess with perfection?

I wrote the company on facebook and they are content with the new recipe and don't plan to change it. That's ok, that's your prerogative to do so but as a mother I have to buy food that my family will eat and they won't eat anything with this butter in it- no mash potatoes, no corn on the cob, nothing! They hate this butter, they said they don't like it so as a mom I have to do what I have to do! Look for a new butter that they will eat!

I've been using Country Crock butter for 20 plus years and my mom used it even longer. The new container is flemsey and you never know if the lid is fully on as for the old ones everyone I know reuses them for leftovers these cheap things will be lucky to not splatter my floor. Forget the grilled cheese the new.recipie does not taste anything like the original I will be changing brands for sure.

I have six boys who are huge fans of breakfast. We have been using country crock for 17 plus years and go through a big tub of the calcium spread a week. Now, my grocery store doesn't even have that version, the original recipe is our backup but this new recipe is disgusting. The looks on my boys faces after they tasted their waffles with this new stuff on it is heart breaking. Please scrap this stuff. It isn't good. I'm not happy about finding a new brand, but I assure you I am not buying this new recipe of yours again.
