Yes, make sure you have time set aside, and a helper, but the easy step by step instructions and better than average safety hardware make self assembly doable. Holes and hardware line up 95 percent of time, leaving 5% for you to figure out and drill. Special safety bolts leave little scratch hazard, and that's important on a play set. Overall, I'm impressed and the kids love it!

I bought this prior to the pandemic taking hold, and it took about a month for delivery right when everything closed down so it gave my fiancé something to do with building it. He and my father in law had it together in less than two days with non- stop working, all except the outpost or deck - whatever you want to call it. We were missing the screws that attached those boards. I called customer service and they had those screws sent out to us within 3 days which was pretty awesome. Otherwise all pieces were delivered in the boxes. The swing set itself is eye pleasing in the backyard. It is noisy when my older children use the swings as you can hear the wood creaking. My youngest child was the one we mainly had in mind when we purchased it as it will give many years ahead of fun. Overall 4 out of 5 stars because one main boards on the ladder has a split in the wood, the directions were confusing at times, and the creaky noise level makes me worry about the sturdiness of it for years to come.

We bought this set a couple months ago and our kids love it. But it was a lot of work to set it up. Two days to set up with two people. The most helpful thing we did was to put all the hardware in ziplock bags labeled with their number and arrange them in order So you could find the hardware you needed easily. Also lay out all the Wood pieces in the garage. The app was very helpful with the 3D images.

My family purchased the skyfort elite in early spring. It has been a place of excitement, of learning, of experience in imagination, and physical exercise since putting it together. The kids love it, and we use it often. Great quality and durable. It was worth every penny spent. It went up in about 20 hours, yes that took work but the instructions (when I read them right) were very helpful. This thing is big and ever inch is useful in play

This is a very well made swing set, that has a ton of features and quality lumber. Other playsets we have assembled came in similarly numbered boxes (1 of 4, 2 of 4, etc). The weird thing on this one is that you have to open all of the boxes first before beginning assembly due to the parts being in random boxes. Assembly in phases is much easier if the parts for the first 10 steps or so are in Box 1, next set of steps in Box 2, etc. We ended up paying for professional assemblers to save time, and they ran into issues despite being super careful and taking time to go through all of the parts. There were a few places where pre-drilled holes did not line up correctly, and required small modifications to get them to go together. There were also a few bolts missing, but were common sizes that I had on hand luckily. Overall this is a great swingset, but could be much better during assembly with a few tweaks to the production and packaging process.

It took me about a week to put it together by myself, but it was fun and the instructions were extremely clear and easy to follow. My 2 daughters absolutely love it, and they spent a good amount of quarantine time playing on it. Great features!

Got this at the start of the Pandemic since our kids weren't able to go to playgrounds, and they LOVE it. Very sturdy! Definitely takes time to put together, and you have to lay it all out and figure out any missing / broken pieces up front but the team replaces those super fast. I'm not exactly handy and was able to put together with a little help from my wife in just over 2 days.

I build bridges for a living so naturally I assumed this would be an easy weekend project. Little did I know it would be a 3 weekend ordeal . Straightforward instructions but there are ALOT of steps. Helps if you have someone sorting and retreving your peices. The set itself is fairly light meaning some of the wood may split easily (which it did on me a couple times) and it will need to be anchored more sufficiently than the instructions suggest. The extra bolts and screws were helpful to the building process. The kids absolutely love it! I just hope it can withstand the wear and tear of 4 boys playing on it. I will be adding a waterproofing stain in the fall to help it last. One last tip. Make sure that the spot you choose it completely level or you will run into some issues.

We bought this swing set back in February and I am so glad we did. The whole family loves this set. I did a lot of research on a swing set that would grow with my kids. I have a 3 and 8 year old and it has been the best thing during this Covid-19 pandemic. They play every day and hours at a time. They love the clubhouse and do lots of pretend play. The assembly took one person 13 hours to put together. Not bad considering other reviews that we have read. Thank you Backyard Discovery for hours of fun!

We're really happy with the product, and it's great that the it's a little more design-oriented than others. The kids love it, our only complaint would be the quality of the material itself. The wood is thinner than I would have expected, so we'll see how it holds up long-term. A few pieces came broken, but customer service was great in getting us what we needed.
