Great design, fun features with usable space layout and easy assembly. I chose this model and company after researching many others in terms of features, material, cost and time (I even sketched and costed out my own play structure design). I did not expect an industrial/commercial grade lumber or steel play set you find at schools or parks. This is made of Chinese Cedar and seems to holding up so far. I have only encountered a few concerns with a cracked board or deep drawn bolts or screws (just adjust your screw gun torque settings accordingly). The instructions were easy to follow and the lumber packaging per box was somewhat organized accordingly but search time for nuts/bolts and boards was more time consuming then the actual assembly. I upgraded the anchoring stakes to a screw in auger anchors and my structure is rock solid with me climbing, swinging and chasing throughout. I assembled this alone in 16 hours over 2 days with “help” only from my 3 & 5 yr old boys. I am happy with this purchase and my boys are even happier to have something to play on every day.

The end result is beautiful, so many neighbors have complimented the playset, and my kids love it! It was a huge project, though... The instructions say it will take an average of 20 hours for two people, but for two first-time playset builders, it took us about seven days of work over more than a month. The hardest parts were the curved sections of wood that needed to fit in the front, back, and the floor of the crow's nest were slightly warped enough that they just would not fit in the tight area. We had to shave an edge of a couple of the planks down slightly to make it work. I wish there was some additional space allotted in those parts since the boards only fit one way. We were also missing one piece. I had dutifully checked the inventory sheets that came in each box and confirmed that I had every board, screw, and bolt, but about halfway through the project we came to a piece of wood that was not on any inventory sheet (and not in any box). When I called to ask for a replacement piece and ask why it wasn't on any inventory sheet, the person told me that those inventory sheets are notoriously unreliable and that I should have checked the pieces using the instruction book. That would have been impossible (there is instruction book no index that says I need a total of four M23s, for example), and was very frustrating. When the customer service person did look up the piece, she told me that it isn't listed as part of my set and had to get a manager's approval to send it to me. It did eventually arrive a few days later, but they really need to make an inventory sheet that can be relied upon. Overall, the set seems sturdy, looks great, and is a lot of fun for my boys. I don't regret it, but it was a huge labor of love and more than a couple of bad words were uttered in the process. I think that's the case for any playset, though, so if you're mentally and physically ready for this task, this is a great playset to choose.

We purchased this for Christmas, took a bit to put up, but now that its warmer been getting lots of use... the structure is great, lots of fun... but the webbed swing that comes with it, the rope comes out of the piece that holds it together, thankfully my kid was just sitting on it... THE FIRST TIME... the second time, it popped out on other side and my kid went flying. I wish theyd just put the glider w this set... we were excited about the web rope swing, but it has caused injury and my kids arent even heavy. But aside from the swing. Everything else is great

We bought the Skylight fort at the beginning of summer right before everything shut down. We could not have been happier that the kids had something with so many different options to play. I would recommend paying the extra money for assembly if possible. We did not so it took about 4 days to assemble. The printing on the wood was hard to read other then that it was a great purchase.

I bought this and put it together by myself. The app was really helpful. However, the wood should have been treated, and more sturdy. A few of the holes did not match up particularly on the pieces for the overlook, which is dangerous. Many pieces of the wood started to crack after only a week or two and I find this disturbing, considering the cost.

The play set is fun and beautiful and functional for my 4yo. The 9yo neighborhood kid gets on it and it's making creaking sounds. I can't even imagine getting on it without breaking something. Part of me wonders if I would have settled for lesser features for more stability and peace of mind. I paid the price of the item for installation and mulch and I wish the quality was a little better. Stronger wood basically.

We bought and put this together about 2 months ago. Our kids and all the neighbor kids love it. The house on top is very roomy. An adult can stand up inside. It was very time consuming to put together but the instructions are super easy to follow. I highly recommend this set!

We have owned this for a couple of months and my granddaughter loves it. The swings are her favorite right now, but she also loves the eagle's nest. The slide is not very sturdy and she tends to bounce around on it when sliding down. She is 2 1/2 and it holds her now, but doesn't seem that it will hold her well if she gets too much bigger. Putting it together took about two, full days for two men. It does help to organize the materials ahead of time. Everything was clearly marked and the set went together quite well. Some of the wood was split and some cracked easily while setting up. It's not the best of wood. We may have to replace some pieces as it ages. Overall, it is a good set and we are happy with the purchase. I do love the solar lights and my granddaughter thinks those are “super cool”.

The size and scope of the playset is amazing. We bought this a couple months ago and our kids really love it. For the price it is everything and more. My only critique would be that the instructions could be a little more detailed for the average joe.

I bought this at the beginning of quarantine so my kids could still play at home. It took a long time for us to put it together, but we did it. I will say the directions weren't the easiest to follow in the beginning, but got easier as we went along. For example we couldn't figure out which side of the swing beam was the “up” side, so we ended up having to drill a few extra holes.
