[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased 65 inch LG C8 OLED TV about a month ago, and I could not be happier with the purchase. Picture quality is superb. The ability to change screen settings is a great idea. Also, when playing videos with Dolby Atmos, Dolby Vision, 4K UHD, and etc., it automatically changed its display setting to an ideal settings for each format. I love this feature. Sometimes I feel like the screen is not bright enough, but I can always change screen setting to make it brighter. Sound is better than I expected. I knew I should not expect a home theater sound quality from a TV, but since this TV was not a cheap one, I thought the sound would be better than average. It was much better than I expected. Before I purchased this TV, I was planning to get a home theater system. For almost a month, however, I have been debating whether to get the home theater system because I wasn't sure whether I really need a better sound. In short, the sound is sufficiently good for movie watching and music listening. LG's app is also great. I was planning to purchase an Apple TV 4k because I heard that it is the only device that support higher quality videos for several apps. But it turned out that LG's internal app also can play high quality videos such as Dolby Atmos and 4K UHD videos from Netflix and YouTube. No need to purchase additional video streaming device since the LG TV itself is sufficient.

Because the tv supports hdmi ARC we are able to use one remote for most actions. Very pleased with purchase. The Web OS that is built in has replaced our FireTV device.

The screen size is perfect (65") The sound is very good too. My old TV sounded like it was in a cave so we needed an additional sound device, not with this TV.. I highly recommend it

Geek Squad came in and wall mounted it in mere minutes. Upon turning it on, we all were in awe of the amazing quality of the picture. My wife still can't believe the realism that comes off that screen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I came from a top of the line Sony XBR, that was an excellent TV back in its the day. The difference between this TV and the new LG OLED is literally night and day when playing back 4K HDR content. I'm amazed at the improvements in picture quality vs LEDs from a few years back. I'm now spending time with the video settings, but so far all I can say is that I am really impressed... my movie's (the 4K versions) and Netflix have never looked better!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV has great picture quality but there are some issues with Dolby Vision content. During complete black scenes I see diagonal lines like waves moving across the screen. It has only appeared with Dolby Vision content whether it be using internal apps or via HDMI connected devices. I also see flashing and macroblocking effects when viewing dark to bright scenes. There are some features I wish this TV can do such as EARC. It might be possible via a firmware update since some other manufacturers have been able to implement that feature and they don't have HDMI 2.1. If the hardware is capable LG should add this feature via a firmware upgrade.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the C8 in November and it lives up to the hype. Sports and movies are awesome on it and the colors are outstanding. Only complaint is that it was a little pricey, but other than that it has been everything I was looking for.

The TV remote control can sense your movement so that you can point and click on the screen to allow you to easily change settings. I'm connected to Comcast 4k and I use the Comcast control and they work seamlessly together. Best TV that I have owned! Truly Amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The clarity and color of the images on this TV are unbelievable. We are still learning all the ins and outs of this TV. Not used to the floating pointer thing, yet. But otherwise pretty intuitive. Using the Sonos sound bar with it, which is fantastic.
