Phenomenal set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Couldn't be more impressed. Found calibration settings for my lighting environment online and this panel is gorgeous. FINALLY TRUE BLACKS! Also don't believe what you read or hear about OLED brightness. This thing is WAY brighter than my 65" plasma that it replaced. If you are comparing the UHDs or other LEDs, forget it. This display blows them away!!!

Best video quality we have ever seen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The C8 replaced our C6 as our "main" set (the C6 is now our "back-up" TV), and the new A9 processor and panel improvements have accomplished what we never thought was: a (slightly) better image than the C6. To boot, the C8 has closed the gap on LCD screens' innate ability to be brighter than OLED.

Great TV picture. Clunky remote and software.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture on this TV is ohenomenal, although it struggles with the blacks in older programs (new stuff is off the charts beautiful). The remote is circa 1998, though, and the TV software is a joke. For example, it has a beautiful collection of art that displays when you tune to an input that's turned off —but then a dumb message appears saying the input is off. There's no way to disable this, and thus the art is pointless.

Amazing TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the TV for a few weeks and all I want to say is WOW. This is my second 4K TV but my first OLED. I have been researching this for months looking at all the reviews and spending time in different retailers looking at the pictures and when I bought it there was no doubt it was what I wanted. The only thing I want to tell buyers is this tv is incredibly thin and you should make sure you have at least two people to help you set it up or get it set up professionally. I am still learning all the features and for me that's exciting.

Absolutely Exceptional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned several of the top TVs over the last 25 years. The OLED65C8PUA is by far the best picture I could hope for and wish I had the money for the 77" TV. The picture reminds me of the best photographs taken by a large format camera. Just a seamless picture. I knew this was supposed to have the blackest blacks available but when it went into black standby mode and made my flat black wall behind my TV seem like a dark gray I couldn't believe it. I watched a dark scene from the Black Panther movie on my previous high end plasma TV and 1/3 of the scene was just a hazy dark. When I watched the same scene on the OLED65C8PUA all of a sudden I saw incredible detail I had no idea that it was there including seams on the black clothing and fine light blue detail. It just blew me away. I also love the easy access features with the remote. I often switch between the various picture settings. Using the sports picture setting makes everything just pop off of the scene in a great way. Switching back to the cinema mode provides a beautiful warmth to movies. Up converting from lower resolutions has also produced beautiful pictures. I had one pretty old non-bluray dvd that looked very grainy but all other older bluray dvds have up converted to a great picture. Best TV purchase I ever made.

C8 for the Win.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the C8 in November and it lives up to the hype. Sports and movies are awesome on it and the colors are outstanding. Only complaint is that it was a little pricey, but other than that it has been everything I was looking for.

Great picture and sound!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this for a few weeks now and love it? there are some things I would change - the light sensitivity feature isn't as good as it could be and the remote is bulky. overall it is a great tv with a very clear picture!

Best TV we've ever had

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this TV about 3 weeks ago after promising ourselves an upgrade for 2 years. We're still finding cool features that make this one of the best purchases we've made. It's a lot thinner than we expected but that's definitely not a problem. The picture and video is so clear and crisp, it's like you're there. The genius remote is nice, it's a little hard to get used to which side is up but being able to voice your search is very convenient. Would definitely buy again.

The TV Is Fantastic - The Remote Not So Much

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this TV for a couple of weeks now and I love it. The picture is everything I'd hoped it would be. Set up was a breeze, although I was suroprised access Pandora was not included. My only complaint is the remote control. Very little instructional material included. Went on line and watched several hoe-to videos on YouTube. Still couldn't figure out how to get it to control my other devices. Ended up using a Harmony 650 as my principal remote.

Excellent display

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I truly wanted the best in our next video system, and this display definitely has the best picture we have seen. We have noted some issues with the latest Web-OS and have had to reset the device a few times the last few weeks, but usually that was when we were adding apps. We also noted the Plex app is badly broken on this unit. Looking at photos is not possible at the moment. Otherwise the set is excellent. I hope to see software updates to fix these minor issues.
