I bought this trailer in July 2018. I bought it for a move from Texas to Alabama. Trust me when I say I looked like Sanford and Son going down the highway! It was fully loaded. I had no issues with the move and everything made is safely. It's nice that the sides folds down, really makes it easy to load and unload. The ramp is convenient to have, as now I have a zero turn to move around. The trailer has made numerous trips between cities in Alabama and has been put to good use. I have had no issues with the trailer! if you tie your load down properly you won't have any issues with the latches. I don't think they were made to be load bearing but if you use the rails and ramp to tie your load down with they won't be able to go anywhere. The ramp will come off but it is heavy, you can take it off by yourself but it's a fight to try to put it on by yourself.

I purchased the Karavan trailer after Hurricane Harvey to pick up some material, and I have always wanted a utility trailer. Although the trailer was out of warranty after about the 7th time of using it the fender on the right side broke. There were tire marks on the inside of the fender were it had hit the fender. I called Karavan and sent pictures of the damage to fender. I could not figure out why it happened, and never received a reason from Karavan why it happened. They asked me if the frame was damaged, and i sent a video of no frame damage. I asked if this was a common problem, but received no reply to my question. My point is beware of quality issues with the Karavan trailer!

Make sure the jack isn't damaged as Karavan stacks these for delivery and mine was bent.

Trailer was everything I wanted and more. Sam's policy is no employee is advised not to sign anything. How do you get it titled and licensed without them signing for the transfer. Looked good sitting in my driveway but not that good.

I like this trailer and how the sides move down for easy loading. Can you carry 16' fence boards on this trailer? Can you leave the tail gate down and secure it so you could carry the longer boards? Thank you!

Ramp is too short making it quite steep to drive anything up. Its dangerous to bring a basic riding lawn mower up. Otherwise its well constructed.

I purchased this item about three months ago from sams club. It has failed to live up to expectations at every level. Horrible purchase on my part.
