I love it. I don't have a lot of cabinet or counter space, so it's difficult to keep my larger Cuisinart handy. This size is perfect for small jobs I do continually, such as chopping nuts or small amounts of vegetables. It fits right in my cabinet and doesn't take up a lot of space. Its also easy to clean,

We ordered a new Cuisinart 3 cup food processor to replace our previous 12 year old one. The old motor ran flawlessly, however, the plastic piece that holds the food to be processed, broke on the lip, preventing it from locking in place. Since the old model is no longer available, a new one was required. I must admit, the original one was much sturdier and exudes more quality than its replacement. Hanging on to the old motor - for what reason, I’m not certain!!! JCEJr Supply, NC

Replaced this for my other totally fine chopper, the little plastic think on the lid broke and would not fully close the top. Therefore it would not turn on because of that. So I got this one. Slightly smaller but does the exact same thing. Great for all chopping needs in any kitchen.

Upon a recommendation from Wirecutter, we bought the Kitchenaid version. Don’t do that. Its two-part locking lid made it very hard to turn the thing on. You’ll see this problem noted if you look at its reviews thoroughly. The Cuisinart is powerful and easy to use. We should have purchased it the first time.

I'm single, have a very small kitchen and am on a very low carb diet because of type II diabetes. I have never used a full size food processor because they just took up too much space. However, I find the size on this one is just right for me and my kitchen counter space. Also, I find it very easy to clean and put back together within a couple of minutes.

For a single person chopping onions, cabbage and carrots this is great. Simple to use. Only two options : chop or grind. Big thing for me it does not take up much more counter space then my large geee stein type coffee cup. I also use it to grind coffee beans

This is a handy little tool for the kitchen. The blade is EXTREMELY sharp- use extra caution when cleaning it. Goes together quickly and easily. Not extremely solid/sturdy- the bowl moves a bit when doing heavier jobs, but it's great for lighter weight or small kitchen tasks.

This little machine is great for those jobs where you don't need your full size Cuisinart food processer. It's easy to pull out and use to make sauces, chop a small amount, etc. Super easy clean up too. Definitely recommend as a companion to your full size processer.

I bought my first mini-prep (not sure what it was called then) in the late 1990's. Sounds like ancient history but it has lasted me this long, and is still fully functional, but getting a little sad from a quarter century of use and abuse. So this is my second one and it is awesome of course. The parts aren't interchangeable but who cares, this thing will chop about anything. TIP for use: when chopping something stubborn, alternate between the 2 settings in short, as in 1-3 seconds, intervals.

I had a mini-prep that was a staple in my kitchen equipment for years. When it's time finally came to process no more, there was only one choice to replace it -- another Cuisinart! The new model has a more powerful motor and the love affair with my mini food processor continues.
