Greatest little kitchen device ever

I do a lot of baking both for the family and dinner guests. For years I have been chopping nuts, herbs etc by hand. This can be a time consuming and messy job on the counter. This little processor has two speeds and does an incredible job. It is neat, fast and so easy to clean afterwards. I use it almost every day. I have purchased a second one for my daughter.

Disappointed in this product

This appliance has power but the liquid spilled out. It shakes a lot. It should have suction feet so it can be more controllable. It chopped very well. The plastic container is very thin/delicate. I expected more from this brand and the price I paid.

Good things come in small packages...

I'm used to good quality from Cuisinart, but expected this little processor to struggle. It had oomph that pleasantly surprised. I've used it for chopping nuts and seeds, mincing veggies and have made hummus in it. The bi-directional spin came in handy. Not only is each side of the blades better suited for different tasks, but occasionally reversing the blade can help keep things in the bowl chopping and not bogged down which would be bad for the motor. Just note the capacity as it's not suitable for bigger tasks and hold down the lid if you've got sloshable contents in the bowl as it can splash up to the seam and leak. Great little processor for smaller tasks though.

Perfect for my needs

This is well designed. It is easy to clean and chops everything to the desired size in a couple of seconds. I have nerve damage in my hands and it is very difficult to use a knife. This has become one of the most important tools in my kitchen. I've made salads, egg salad, coleslaw, potato salad and even chopped meat. I just spray a bit of cooking spray and it is easy to empty and clean. It is so powerful I have to be careful how many times I pulse it or the food turns into baby food. This is the perfect size for someone who lives alone, but it would also be perfect for anyone who just needs smaller portions. Overall I could not be happier with this processor.

Mini Food processor Plus 3 cup

I bought a month ago from Wayfair I like in white Somewhat powerful I usually chop onions The problem I have that I had to hold this unit with a hand while chopping because it was wobbly and a little unstable itself and the most that the blade got crack too soon Still works and does it’s job but I do not know how safe to use with a cracked blade next to the metal Great size Probably will get 4 cup instead 3 Bever Do nuts or hard veggies because I am agreed that maybe too hard to chop

Good, but not like they used to be.

I have a very old 11 cup I believe it is that is still going strong, which is why I chose cuisinart for my mini. However I don’t believe this one will last me as long, maybe I’m wrong, but with the work bowl out of much lighter plastic, I have my misgiving. It feels cheap compared to my old one. It works very well, but only time will tell.

Mini-Prep saves the day!

This little machine is great for those jobs where you don't need your full size Cuisinart food processer. It's easy to pull out and use to make sauces, chop a small amount, etc. Super easy clean up too. Definitely recommend as a companion to your full size processer.

Best purchase

I had a chopper similar to this which I owned for a long time. I needed a replacement and I am so happy with this purchase. I use it for everything I need to chop/grind everything I need to for my cooking. Just love it. Then I found out my friend has the same thing and we compared notes and have the same conclusion! It is definitely a good purchase. I would definitely recommend this.

Perfect for small batches

This is my second 24 ounce processor by Cuisinart. The first one suffered a drop that broke the top. I had it for years. It’s just perfect for grinding up cracker crumbs for recipes, chopping vegetables etc. which is why I ordered a replacement on the day I broke the first one.

Great appliance except for one issue!

This is my second Mini-Prep and I had already replaced the blade assembly once because it cracked. I bought the second one because the blade assembly cracked again. The blade assembly on the new Mini-Prep appears to be a different material. I hope it lasts longer. I also intend to pre- chop harder vegetables to reduce strain on the assembly. Aside from this issue I love the Mini-Prep.
