Mini-prep, where have you been all my life? I love this little machine! So easy to clean and as powerful as my huge food processor. The perfect graham cracker crust maker. You can do enough for one pie in one bowl. Chopping is a breeze and so easy to regulate. I will wear it out and happily buy another!!

I have been looking for a mini processor for a while and when I saw the Cuisinart Mini-Prep Plus Processor I was so happy, It's just perfect! Beautiful looking, right size, easy to use and good quality all in one, I love it! You really have to have it, it's Great! Thanks Cuisinart for make this great tool, It makes my cooking easier. I purchased this as a replacement for a very old and smaller Cuisinart unit. I really like the larger capacity and the small storage space needed. I really don't have need for one of the big food processors and find that this one is perfect for making sauces, dips and prep for my recipes. It's easy to clean and fits neatly on the top shelf of the dishwasher. Highly recommend this for light tasks and small kitchens.

Probably, I would say this product does what it needs to. Overall. It’s pretty powerful and much can be accomplished with its ability to go in two different directions. That being said, there have been a couple of items I tried in it that proved to be a bit much for it wherein I literally had to hold the bowl in place as it kept wanting to spin its way out: peppermint candies (I had to crush a bunch at once and thought this one could handle it), and saltine crackers (perhaps I put too many at once). The processor got the job done eventually, but I just had to really hold tight to that bowl. I wish the bowl truly locked into place. It says “bowl lock,” but clearly it isn’t really locking it securely. Nevertheless less, it’s small, and does the majority of the jobs I’ve used it for with ease. For that reason, I gave it 4 stars.

I was very disappointed with this. It was so loud while running almost unbearable. It was very difficult to hold the button down while pouring oil in the drizzle hole to make mayonaise. I ended up purchasing a larger Cuisinart which I am happy with. No oil overspill and much quieter.

I bought this to chop up nuts and a few dried fruits to make my own keto style cereal. It doesn’t seem to have a way to shop everything up, but instead, some nuts get chopped until they’re dust while others are nearly whole. I have tried chopping the nuts first then chopping the dried dried after and then mixing it with a spoon that seems to work OK but I was hoping to have a better uniform outcome.

I wanted a small grinder for salsas, chopping nuts etc. I love that this is so small, yet it gives me 2 speeds. Having the blades turn in 2 directions allows me to keep our dogs liver treats from getting caught under the blades as I grind to make a powdered food topper for them. Being able to put the assembly in the dishwasher is very convenient.

It is small, so if that is what you are looking for, something for small jobs, this is it. It is also fragile. The plastic pieces must be handled with care, or they will break. I would hand wash all of the parts. Not advisable to put any of it in the dishwasher.

Purchased it mainly to purée and emulsify as older version could not accommodate liquid and would only chop and grind dry substances. It puréed well and is good for small volumes. Tried chopping pecans and the result was a mixture of powder and large chunks. Had more consistent result using a chefs knife.
