This processor is the perfect size and does a great job of chopping and also pureeing. I have only had this less than a month and have already chopped pecans, pureed veggies, ground candy canes into a powder and it easily powered through all of this without any issue what so ever. It is also incredibly easy to clean. The only con to this machine is if you are looking for a quiet device, this is not it. It is quite loud but for the job it does and that I would never be using this late at night or early in the morning, it doesn't bother me in the least. It's performance out weighs its loudness. Just thought you might want to know that it is not very quiet.

I love my new Mini-Prep Processor. This was to replace one that I have had for many years. Purchased this one because it is a little larger (able to chop a large onion all at once). This processor is easy to use, small and lightweight enough to store away easily. Cleans easily. Love it!

My mom had one while I was growing up and always loved using it when I would cook; so naturally when I got married and moved out, I got one for our home too. It’s perfect for quick and fine chopping because I’d never be able to chop that small without cutting some fingers off but I especially like it for the pesky onions that make me cry. I’m able to throw the onions in there and the chopper does all the work for me, so no more tears! Would definitely recommend this or also the bigger version too.

I purchased this as a replacement for a very old and smaller Cuisinart unit. I really like the larger capacity and the small storage space needed. I really don't have need for one of the big food processors and find that this one is perfect for making sauces, dips and prep for my recipes. It's easy to clean and fits neatly on the top shelf of the dishwasher. Highly recommend this for light tasks and small kitchens.

I’ve had the full size food processor for many years but it’s work taking it out and cleaning it for small jobs. This size is amazing. Big enough to handle good size projects and very very easy to use and clean. Love it. It’s a big help in the kitchen. 5 stars

This works well to chop up smaller quantities of foods, however I was really disappointed that even though the website says that all parts are dishwasher safe, the bowl warped in the dishwasher after only about 3 washes and the lid will no longer fit onto it. I got a replacement and now will not be putting the bowl or lid in the dishwasher to avoid them warping again, but I really think the description online should be updated to indicate that not all parts are dishwasher safe.

This is the first food processor I've ever owned. I purposely bought the smaller model because it cost less than the larger and I didn't want to make such an investment in something I wasn't sure about. All I can say is, I will certainly be upgrading in the future! While this doesn't process huge amounts of food, it is a powerhouse. I mostly use it to chop onions and peppers. I like their taste yet don't want to see big chunks of them in my cooking. I never thought I'd find anything that would rival my own (neurotic) chopping requirements but this has saved me hours at the cutting board.

What a fabulous little food processor. Yes, it's small, so it won't process gallons of ingredients at a time. Small, but mighty! I was shocked at how powerful it is. If you have tons of storage space and would like to have both a small and a large food processor, this is a great choice. By contrast, if you've got a tiny kitchen and didn't think you have enough space for a food processor, this small but powerful model will be a pleasant surprise!

I've used the Mini-Prep for chopping ingredients for tuna or chicken salad, chopping veggies for chili, chopping cheese, nuts for a pie crust, making hummus / baba ganouj, salsa, pesto, purees, sauces, etc. It can handle anything I choose to process. Looks like I just wore out the first one I used. This is my 2nd Mini-Prep, because the 1st one I had for 9 years finally bit the dust. The blades would spin great when it was empty, but if you put in any food (resistance), --regardless of size--the motor would spin, but not the blade spindle--even a new one; ... so, I now have replacement parts if I should ever need them. Getting such good use for so long from the 1st one I bought, I decided to get another one.

We bought this so that we could easily make pesto from our basil plant. We cook from scratch regularly so we have found a number of uses for this so that we don’t have to chop or grind by hand. It’s small enough that we can leave it our my counter along with our other regularly used kitchen appliances. It has filled in a void.
