Eye popping

My first 4k UHD tv and that pleases me. Have it connected to a xfinity 4k cable box which delivers 4k video and 5.1 audio. Assemble was very simple especially since the TV is so light -- just two legs. The tv is very well packaged for travel and the plastic that the set is wrapped in has built in handles along the topso carrying it around was easy. Much to my delight, the xfinity cable box and the Vizio tv worked together to set up the visual/audio/remote settings nearly without my intervention. Once connected to the internet (WiFi, in my case) the tv preformed a firmware update without my intervention. Setting the video parameters had only one surprise: had to set the "color" to 96/100 level. Delighted. Even got Alexia to connect. Next step is to connect a 3.1 sound bar (using optical) as I want the middle channel for movies.

Nice TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this TV because of the brand and it features. Looks pretty nice, but imagine quality isn't that good on whites and blacks backgrounds. When the screen is full white you see like darker stains/spots on the screen. When the screen is full black imagine you see the stains/spots in the oposite way. Other than that it is a nice TV.

Not quite as advertised

While the quality of the tv itself and general features are excellent, Vizio did a REALLY dumb thing.... All of the streaming apps are PRELOADED (and a bit bloaty) with no way to download apps- you still have to cast from another device if it isnt on the list. THE MAIN REASON I bought a "smart" tv was to avoid this- my older tv has Chromecast added on- and I wanted to upgrade to an all-in-one format. So if you want to use popular apps like sling, disney+, hbo hho, etc... Its back to a decade ago. Smart tv? More like slave tv. I strongly suggest you make a software jailbreak for this, vizio.

reply from Customer Service

Hello Numbah7, VIZIO is committed to giving consumers access to as much streaming content as possible. SmartCast televisions deliver today’s most popular apps like Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, and others on the SmartCast TV home screen. The TVs also come with Watchfree, a no cost service that provides hundreds of channels with no additional purchase or registration requirements. SmartCast televisions also support Google Chromecast and Apple AirPlay 2 so that you can share content from the latest applications on your phone, tablet, or computer directly to the TV. You can view Disney+ on this VIZIO SmartCast TV by 'Casting' the content from the Disney+ app on a compatible device. You can also use the AirPlay feature of your VIZIO TV with an iOS device running iOS12.3 or later or a Mac device running 10.14.5 or later.

Great television!

I bought this about 4 months ago for our bedroom and it works wonderfully! Easy to set up and provides easy access to most streaming apps. If you have a firestick come red to it as well, you'll be 100 percent satisfied. Great picture, highly recommend.

Vizio V-Series

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Will never buy another Vizio product again. The programmers have made it difficult for owners to navigate channels. The remotes are not user friendly. Exiting UNWANTED apps is time consuming. The tv screen does not revert back to full screen. Never buying again. I have 15 year old Vizio TVs that are sensational. Stop aggrieved purchasers and hire educated people.

Very Satisfied

As soon as I adjusted all my settings, I couldn't be happier. The picture and sound are terrific. It's very easy to use all the features with this VIZIO TV. I connected with Xfinity with no problems. I have used the Smart TV appts to watch some of my favorite shows. The price was excellent.

Superior Value!

As a Quality Professional I must say this is a grand value for not only it's specs., but it's actual product quality delivery. I'm glad I chose this as it is well worth the chance that turned out to be a real winner. Just bear in mind, that there was an actual break in period, it took several hours before the color brightness began to shine in it's beautiful vibrancy.

Great screen and digital speed/ clarity

I did need to buy a sound bar for this. The stock speakers sounded like am transistor radio speakers. The sound bar completes the set up. Love the picture and smart TV apps. Wish I could get HBO Max app on it, but it streams great off of my phone through the WiFi.

Not as good as I thought it would be

The picture looks really good. However there is an issue when you have the feature turned on to allow your attached devices control the TV (CEC). The TV goes into a sleep mode that can't be fixed unless the TV is unplugged. As a result I had to not use the CEC functionality. Pretty disappointing.
