Great TV for the price.

I purchased this tv for the 4k HDR setting for my 4k movies. This has a great picture and great sound. The Smart tv has some great apps as well. I purchased this due to the high refresh rate thinking it was like the tru motion or smooth flow. Wasn't as I expected once everything was hooked up. The high resolution for the 4k is great however.

Love my 55” 4K Vizio smart tv

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had a 43 in Vizio smart tv and recently upgraded my living room tv to a 55” Vizio 4K smart tv. Absolutely love the sound, image is clear and vivid with a fast refresh rate. All the access to streaming services that I need. I would purchase again!

Awesome picture

I bought this a week ago after my old tv died. I love the picture and sound of the vizio tv better than most all other brands. The colors are very good and with high detail. The sound is great, I rarely need the volume past 10 in the living room. Keep up the great work Vizio.

It is a great TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was a great television for a while, but then there were several times when updates would freeze up the system and cause the TV to not turn on. I would have to force several factory resets to get it right. This has happened about 4 times since getting it at the end of 2019. However, so far, this latest update seems to be more stable compared to passed updates. Great television in terms of visual quality and performance. I gave it 3 stars due to the difficulties getting it to run again when it decides to randomly quit.

Clear picture but troubleshooting issues It shuts off in the middle of the movies streaming is Horrible I call in before because I couldn't take it back we're I brought it from they said it was past 30 days on the 29th day smh n that I had to go through the company and all they did was help me troubleshoot it when I actually need a new tv I feel like it was money wasted I could've just brought a cheaper tv with the same problems !!!!

Nice sound and beautiful picture

Santa brought us a new Vizio to replace an older model which was starting to drop sound. The picture is gorgeous from everywhere in the room, and the sound is wonderful. There is easier access to apps and on-line services than before, and the remote control is simple and effective. We love this television!

User Friendly - Has Everything We Need!

Was so happy to replace our older Vizio with the newer "smart" model that is loaded with all of the apps we use to watch movies and TV shows. Highly considering dumping our Dish now that we have this TV! Been using it for a couple months now and we absolutely love it. It's so user friendly our 4 year old figured out how to operate it and can easily pop on the shows he likes to watch. That is a bonus on busy mornings we are all trying to get ready for work/school - the kiddo is all set with the Sesame Street app! Highly recommend!

Great replacement TV

I bought this TV to replace one I bought 8 years ago. It was also a Vizio and finally quit working. Backlight went out. Could fix but price of new TV was too good. So far happy with it. App setup is very similar to Amazon Fire TV Stick easy to navigate and has so much stuff preloaded. Great TV for cord cutters. Just wish it had a guide feature like my old Vizio purchased about 10 years ago and still working. I have only bought Vizio TV's since I started to buy flat screens and will continue to buy them because of their quality keep up the good work.

Subpar

Sub par quality. I've had an older vizio for 7 years that I like, however this tv wasn't good. First one the speakers were distorted and echoed at any volume (this tv was for a bedroom so no external speakers). Returned for an exchange, and the 2nd one had similar sound issue but not as bad. Picture was kind of dull, and couldn't get Netflix or Disney+ to supply a 4K picture. Replaced with an lg tv that is brighter, better sound, and better software.

Nice picture but the connectors need improvement

I like the TV, the picture is great. I do not like the location of the various connections (rca, hdmi). 1: you have to have tiny hands and 2: by putting them in the back of the tv and not on the sides, it makes it difficult if you have a mounted TV and you want to add something after
