One of only a few 40 inch 4K displays. Most of the of others are no frills low end models. This one inherited all the features of the larger screened models in its range. This Visio has all the major apps, plus Chrome Cast, and Apple Air Play integrated. The pictures has more adjustments than a normal user will know what to do with. Overall an excellent choice if you are looking for a smaller screen TV that does 4K. This is going on the wall in front of the elliptical machine of my home gym.

Perfect as a USB-C connected external monitor for my macbook and razerblade 13" running linux mint 20 with xfce. It's a real shame they don't make more 40" 4k panels. Grab one while you can!

This Vizio tv is perfect for a spare room or a bedroom, easy to set up understanding the controls was a snap, quality is awesome , I would recommend this unit for anyone wanting to install a second tv the price was just right .

The picture is like being in the theater. 4K HDMI VIZO is the best. Cant stop watching. Amazing, amazing. If you going to invest in a new TV the 4K is the way to go.

this is my 2nd V405 series, my 1st one bought last year. needed a 2nd monitor, wham, VIZIO for the win!! and I cannot tell which is which, perfect for my office

So far (1 week after purchase), I'm very pleased. Excellent picture, and much better sound than my previous set. The only thing I wish is that the set had a built-in web browser, so you don't have to "cast" things from your computer to the TV. Oh, and Vizio really, really needs to come up with a way to record programs on its WatchFree service so you can watch them at a more convenient time.

Setup was difficult as it took a long time and was kind-of confusing. The TV is for the bedroom and it really is the perfect size, except that the legs on the TV should be closer together because it needs to be turned a little more. I really wish it had the pedestal stand it was so much nicer and steadier!

I bought this TV to replace a five-year-old 28" Vizio smart tv I bought at Walmart 6 years ago and still working like new. I still love it and I put it back into the box it came in. I just wanted a bigger screen and a more modern one. This new model has a great beautiful picture and great features. I am in love with my new toy. I only had one issue the other day, 5 days after I received it. I turned it on when I got up in the morning and the screen was black and I could only hear the news with no picture. I turned off and back on, and nothing. It was when I unplugged the power cord from the rear of tv that it started working again. I called customer service and I informed them of the issue. They immediately got in touch with me and had me change some settings which will hopefully prevent this from occurring again. I hope this is the last time with this scary incident. Their service is excellent and they said if it happens again they will service it or replace for another new model.

It's a great deal for the price. The picture is good. The volume is good. You can't add apps and the remote is not that great. The menu is hard to work with. I also have to unplug everything, reenter my router password and reboot the TV every time I go to use it. That could be a deal breaker.

I had another Vizio and I'm so disappointed in this one. 4k TV the colors are absolutely awful. constantly having to change the picture settings. I'm going to pack it up and return it.
