Great television

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a year ago for my mom for Christmas! She enjoys the excellent picture quality. I hooked up my ps5 and the gaming engine for the tv does not disappoint and really shows its power! I may buy another for me!

Lots to explore!

Setup was quick but did have to power cycle the TV when it was first setting up to get it to continue updating. Picture is great and there's a lot to explore with the Smart Cast. I was able to hook up with my voice assistant no problem. Very pleased!

Great picture.

I do love this TV. Has a great picture works well with my gaming systems. The only flaw is the universal speaker flaw I have had with every bigger tv the sound is either soft or perfect. I use my sound bar to correct this but it doesn't take away for me. The picture is the reason I was getting this sexy beast

No quality sound

I purchased and setup. My first disappointment was not all apps are available. You will need a streaming device to connect. I assumed by this being such a popular brand I would find almost everything I needed on this tv. Once I set everything up with cable, apps, and all. Got ready to watch a movie and NO SOUND. Let me say there was sound but it was like they were whispering and if you turned it up it sounded like busted speakers. So you will also need a sound bar. Decided to return. Great picture, some apps missing, but sounds issues are a deal breaker for me.

Good TV and video quality

Once the new the update went through, the TV has worked as expected. Works especially great when mated with a vizio 5.1 surround sound system sound bar. I would have given it 5 stars, had I not had issues when the Smartcast was not working, along with many other features due to problems with the previous firmware. During that time, my TV was pretty much useless for about a week from the time that I bought it.

Great TV for the $$

We bought this TV and unfortunately for the first week there was a software issue and nothing worked but live TV and Chromecast. Only a couple of the buttons worked on the remote as well. The gal in Customerservice was amazing and very helpful to let us know that Vizio was working in the issue. About a week later the TV came to life! I love everything now that the TV works. The picture is great as well as the sound. Other than the software problem, for the money I highly recommend this TV!

Great Price... Low Quality

We bought this TV after having a great experience with a 70” Vizio that we had used for almost 7 years. The disappointment started from the moment we turned on the TV. At the top of the screen (especially in dark environments with a dark screen) this TV displays white hold at the top of the picture. It really distracts you from the viewing experience. In addition, one of the TV's speakers is now blown, and we've never turned the volume above 25 out of 100. Every time there is a show or movie with strong lows/bass, the right speaker buzzes like crazy. Overall, very disappointed, and tfis will likely be our last Vizio.

Excellent TV!!

I bought a little Vizio television for my bedroom about 17 years ago and it has been a great tv. It was the first flat-screen I purchased. It still is working perfectly also!! But my husband has been wanting a bigger television for a while now and getting older, my eyes aren't as good as they used to be! So I searched and searched for TV's . I saw alot of tvs around the same price, but they were brands that I never heard of, so when I saw that Vizio had a very reasonably priced 50" tv, I got it. My husband hung it on the wall right away, very easily. It's a great TV!!! I am very happy that I stuck with Vizio! They make a good television and even with the value series, it's a great television!

Restarts Every time I Power the tv off

I've had this television for well over a year and currently it has started to glitch. Everytime I power the television off it restarts and I have to go through the set process all over again. It also logs me out of my streaming services whenever this happens. It has become very annoying to the point where I don't power off my television because I don't want to do all of that over and over again.

Easy set up and good picture

I'm happy with his TV. I would've given five stars but the mounting bracket for my TV stand covers over the composite inputs on the back. So if I ever do need these inputs for anything I won't be able to use them unless I modify my bracket. Just make sure, if you plan to get this TV and use a mounting bracket that it is clear of the inputs Everything else is great
