I needed an upgrade to my game room, this was it, very easy to set up and use. Was a little worried that it did not come with a paper user manual only app manual , but you don't need it. Everything before you change it or modify the feature tells you what you actions will do to the TV positive or negative. This is a great feature for the less safi tech customer. Wish my LG was this user friendly. Made my Xbox look amazing, better then my LG UHD, This TV has a game excelarator processor, for faster game refresh rate(to prevent graphic lag). My LG was a Video TV to play games on, this Vizio TV is Gaming TV to play movies on. If you want a TV for games highly recommend this one and other made by Vizio.

My son purchased this for me last month for my birthday and so far I am enjoying watching anything that comes up on the screen. I purchased the Vizio Sound Bar 2.1 a month before I got my new TV and the sound made a big improvement on my old 40" Insignia TV. But now with my Vizio 50" 4K HDR Smart TV & Vizio 2.1 Sound Bar whatever I'm watching looks/sounds great. And watching movies is like sitting inside a big screen movie theatre. Did I must mentioned all the apps already installed and the easy on screen directions to get you all set-up with no stress. Very satisfied customer.

Unti will not scan / connect to basic cable channels. The graphics / numbers on remote too small & too light - hard to see. Works when connected to internet. Sound quaility - very poor. All of this as compared to a Vizio I have that worked great ! But that set is being used as PS screen. New unit is being returned.

The picture quality is the best with no question. The TV does have it's problems however with remote control freezing the sound, the back button, the menu button and the apps. The only solution is to unplug the TV. Updates have been downloaded and installed, factory settings have been redone and still no additional channels or apps.

Picture looks great when watching movies and playing games on my PlayStation 4. The only thing I have a problem with is the sound. When watching certain movies the speackers on the tv start to rattle even if the volume isn't that high. & that's the reason I gave a 4/5.

I bought this a montth ago. Had issues with thr unit turning off. Trouble.shooting site was no help. Finally had to reset to default to clear the problem. Disappointing that the fiber optic wasn't able to regulate the volume through my surround system. My previous Visio model worked flawlessly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Vizio 58" V-Series, model V585-H1 is a visually immersive experience. Esthethically, the thin bezel in the graphite gray and brushed metal finish is pleasing to the eye. Like most modern flat panels, the TV is lightweight, yet with substance to it. That is, it does not have a cheap feel to it despite its light weight. One thing that posed a temporary issue was the VESA screw spacing. I replaced a 50" Vizio with this model. The previous model had a 100 mm screw pattern. This model had a 300 mm x 200 mm spacing. Fortunately I was able to order an adaptor plate from a well known online company, and received it the next day. Installing it on a wall mount required 3 people to maneuver it (2 to lift and hold, 1 to line up and install the screws). If you have a wall mount with a plate designed with the 300 mm x 200 mm spacing and keyhole style screw holes, it is likely it would only require 2 people to lift and mount it. The built in apps is pretty typical of smart TV's. And now to the picture: WOW! My initial evaluation involved watching the movie Gemini Man. I didn't choose that movie for the reason that proved to be the outstanding feature of this TV. It has color accuracy that has you saying 'that's what it looks like in real life!'. The skin complexion was reproduced in a way that was clearly accurate. The high definition allowed you to see pores and whiskers on the star of the movie. But what was a real attention getter was when the villain first pursued the hero in Cartegena, Columbia. The yellow buildings contrasting against the vintage colored cars had me mesmerized. My wife was equally impressed. Next, I watched a BBC nature show on the native Netflix app. The program opened with a multi-colored kingfisher plunging into still water to capture a fish. It was done in super slow-mo with a high definition camera. You could see the colors of the bird's plumage being reflected in the droplets of water that were hurled upwards as the kingfisher broke the surface of the water. It was a breathtaking image. For a suggested retail price of $349.99 you get a lot of TV. I have always purchased Vizio TV's (6 of them now) because of the outstanding value, and because straight out of the box, they have a beautiful picture. I once purchased another major brand, a company well known for their optical products, and was very disappointed. I took it back and bought another Vizio. Vizio may not have the type of name recognition of other companies, but I don't make large purchases based on brand names. I look for value, features, and usability. This TV fits the bill. With the holidays coming up, this would make a wonderful gift without dropping a load of cash.

I bought this tv due to owning Vizio tvs in the past and the great quality I had with them. This 70 " is great when watching my movies along with my surround sound system is almost like in a movie theater. The only thing is I can't add apps to it to watch more or listen to more that I do on my fire stick. This is another reason to get a smart tv was to do away with the fire stick but I had to connect an antenna to the tv to get my local channels. Other than that it is great.

I was in the market for a smart tv and compared some of the top quality flagship lines from other manufacturers, and this specific model came out on the list of other smart tv's. As I went down the list of features, this tv had more to offer than the other tv's in the market. The ability to adapt to smart phone mirroring is not a feature that is new in the industry. Yet the flawless, and effortless connection compared to other models, this Vizio by far is the easiest to navigate and utilize. The ease of use from the home menu with endless options to view from and enjoy are second to none! The ability to view free tv goes without mentioning the use of cable/satellite to view some channels, shows, etc., are tremendous. The service of which is free from Vizio provides a selection of channels without the use of services that cost a small fortune to some. The quality that is provided for this specific tv is by far the best purchase available for whoever is in the market for a low budget, yet grand quality, this will be a decision that you will never regret. Yes, I understand that they're many other products out there that may have more functions and better quality! Again, for this model and it's class, I figure this product to be, by far, the best choice! To compare other tv's in other classes above this model, still gets a comparison just in budget. You can't go wrong with this Vizio, regardless of what other option Vizio may have to offer. Please take into consideration that Vizio has come a long way from when they fist started to where they are now. They have listened to the consumer and provided tremendous quality for a value that is just mind-boggling. Just know that you are to purchase a great quality with this tv or any for that matter from modern-day Vizio!

Up graded cause out old Vizeo was going out. after 9 years of heavy use. Vizeo products are great equipment for the price. This Product has great picture and the online aspect of this version is way better then the older version. Color is amazing and a crisp clear picture. The sound is very high quality for tv speakers over all would purchase again
