Good picture

I liked this tv up until a couple months ago. I have had it for just over a year and now I have to do a soft power cycle daily or it doesn't work. I get a message that there is no network detected or apps like Netflix will just buffer constantly until I do the soft power cycle. It's really annoying because sometimes I have to do it multiple times a day.

What happened to Vizio quality?

I have owned three Vizio TVs and a Vizio Sound Bar over the years and I have enjoyed them immensely so when I decided to invest in a newer and larger TV I immediately shopped Vizio first and bought a 50" V505-H19 Smart TV. The set up was fast and easy, the picture was great but.....what's up with the sound? I could not get the volume to work with either the remote or the manual control on the back of the TV. I would singly press or hold down the volume control and get no response then the volume would radically change to zero or "blowing out the speakers". I called Customer Service who said they were aware of the issue, that I was "not alone" and that they were working on a firmware upgrade. "You will receive an upgrade and all will be good with your TV. Just be patient. After eight days and no upgrade I called Customer Service again and this Rep said that this same issue is affecting ALL OF THE SMART TVs. ALL of them? So, Vizio has been sending these out the door KNOWING they had a problem? When I asked if he knew of when I could expect the firmware update I was told that they were very busy and he didn't know when to expect a fix to be sent. Well, I knew when to fix it, right then and there. I returned the TV to the store I had purchased it from and they were very good about it. I then purchased another well-known, popular brand and spend almost an hour setting it up. It was way money and I do not like the format or the remote but, at least, it works. Why Vizio? Why?

Again, a Super Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this 75 inch set to replace my older 42 inch Vizio. The 42 was also a great set but wanted a larger one for the living room. As the 42 was so great I looked for another Vizio, my 3rd one! No disappointments at all, just super. My 42 is in the bedroom and my 12 year old Vizio is in the guest room. 12 years old and still a great set! Never any problems ever with any Vizio product.

A new adventure

I purchased this tv and set it up 10 days ago.We are exploring all the programs that are available. It will probably take several more days to figure everything out. We have antenna tv and now we have more to watch than we have had for many years. Who needs cable or satellite?

Awesome All Around Entertainment

I am happy as I always am with Vizio. The picture clarity is superb. All of the options of what to watch is endless. Chromecast couldn't be easier. The sleekness is always a plus. I watched the Vizio Thank You video on YouTube; it made me proud to own a television from a company that cares. So...Thank You Vizio

Beautiful picture, excellent sound

We had a VIZIO before, so our expectations were high--this TV has exceeded our expectations! The picture is crystal clear and perfect, and the sound is also amazing! The only tiny request would be to have more apps available, otherwise, this is a great purchase!

Much BETTER

I've had this a few weeks and so far it's been GREAT!!. The user friendly interface makes it easy to navigate and find what your looking for and with apple/android screen mirror makes watching personal content easy Con(so far): Has alot (all major) streaming services, but could use more

Set up and other issues

So I had this tv fir like 1 year and a half. Over the time me using it I've experienced returning to homepage issues. I've experienced wifi issues. I've experienced issues switching over from Netflix to home page. Some times when I turn on the tv the home page won't turn on and says no network disconnected. BUT! It will let me move select netflix and hulu and amazon prime. The tv doesn't get enough software updates so it's severely behind on firmware. From what I've seen you guys have made no attempt to fix the glitches in your tv. These experiences are so bad 90% of the time I have to power cycle the tv the other half I have ti jeep turning it on and off. Tv has great picture and great images for gaming. The tv NEEDS more freedom to the person who bought it. What I mean by that is customization on the back ground, how your apps in rearranged, making a favorites for your apps in case there not on the controller. The menu page 90% is undeeded and endless scrolling to the right and it doesn't auto bring the tiles you goto the most closer to the front of the line to make it easier for the viewer to select what they want to watch. These issues NEED TO BE FIXED out of all the other tvs I've seen this is the most unused friendly TV there is.

Vizio has gone downhill

My first flatscreen was a vizio that lasted 8 years. Bought this one after trying Sanyo. The vizio's color is poor, sound is frustrating and it's glitchy. Apps don't work sometimes and tv cast chooses to not work at inconvenient times. I won't buy vizio again.

Apps are not attached to set up

I've had my item for a year now but when it was updated it knock all of my apps I could turn on my tv and go to smart cast an all my apps where there its not like that any more and I don't know how to get it back to the original way it was I loved that.
