Third Vizio TV

Bought my 3rd Vizio tv to go along with my 2 Vizio sound bars. The ease of set-up and operation along with the consistent quality and reliability have sold me on the Vizio brand. I'll buy them again and recommend them to everyone looking for great quality at an affordable price.

Worst TV I ever owned

I got this TV in October last year I think and the sound quality is horrible so if you want good sound you have to go to sound bar and I can't necessarily afford that. Also it keeps disconnecting from my Internet and I have a Samsung in my bedroom that never disconnects so it isn't my Internet. Also it just shuts off sometimes for no apparent reason. Tonight I have a new problem while I'm watching YouTube TV which is what I use for my streaming provider it just keeps going back to the home screen back-and-forth back-and-forth all the time. So I thought well I'll try Netflix same thing does the same thing so it's not the provider. It's this hunk of junk TV that I have. I will never ever buy another Vizio product. I'll be replacing it as soon as I can afford it.

price is right for tv

The detail bar showing what is on the TV now needs improvement. The characters are too small and slim. They are hard to read at a distance. They should be at least 10 times bigger. Viewing angle is critical too. Colors will look washed out when view at an angle.

Nice TV love all the features for the price

Only issue I had was getting the TV to display my Xbox one in 4k. Other than that I love the TV. The TV was bought for my Xbox one to allow me to use my Xbox one in 4k. Since it was a real pain in the butt getting that working is the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This television has a great picture. This is not my first TV from Vizio. I have not had any problems with any of the 3 TV'S. Just the clarity and colors are so much more quality than the other 2. This is not a problem since they was in a lower grade class. Ok

It is ok for the price and is much better than my 1080 TVs. It has its moment where you can tell the 4K is working and on some even 4K HDR movies they just look like a real good 1080. But for the price I can't complain. The tv does act like it has a mind of its own and sometimes just loses volum on its own

Volume problems

Volume is...awful would be an improvement; muffled, distorted, etc. To hear anything you have to turn the volume to 43 (volume goes up to 100). When it goes to a commercial the volume increases almost two fold. When it went f/commercial to the show I was watching, to compare sound, I turned the volume up to around 80 to get the same level of sound. Was chatting with a Vizio tech who had me to try a couple of things which, I had already tried on my own. When it didn't resolve the problem, they had me to do a factory reset. Once complete, the sound from the show and commercials where near the same level, until I turned on the volume balancer...then the commercials went to blasting again. In the middle of all of the above, we were disconnected...looks like a problem on Vizio's side; received a message to try again later. Frustrating after being on a call for 30-45 minutes. Been through this a couple of times...would like to get a replacement or a refund if we can't get the volume right. I'm asked below if I would recommend Vizio to a friend? We have another Vizio product we are happy with but, based on this experience no. If they resolve the problem or replace the unit, my opinion would change.

Nice picture!

Got this for our bedroom and I have no regrets. I used a wall hanging kit that I had already installed for our last TV. Our old TV was only 32" but this 43" is much lighter and actually smaller overall because the frame is so small. Wow, the picture is just great.

Great TV

Had my last Vizio for ten years. Up graded to a bigger size, the older one still works fine. This new one is great, so many more features. Glad I stuck with a great brand. Looking for another one to fit my rec room, will be a little bigger. Bought the 43 inch for my living room. PERFECT FIT. Thanks VIZIO

Love it!

I actually ended up buying two of these TVs. My living room first. It's easy enough to navigate that my five year old can pick her shows from Netflix or Disney+. I bought a second one for my bedroom. The quality is spectacular! The picture is perfect! Navigation is easy! Setup is simple! I love my new TVs.
