Poor perforations = needless frustration
I bought so many rolls of Bounty only to find out they are now barely perforated. I have to have a pair of scissors by the roll so they can be cut because tearing no longer works. They are also much thinner. I hate to have to throw away 48 rolls of paper towel, but this is ridiculous. Bounty used to be a reliable brand, but not anymore. Hopefully others see this review before they make the same mistake I did.

Bounty paper towels changed - So will I after 25 years
There are two name brand products I always had to have. Bounty Paper Towels and Northern Toilet Paper. Two months ago, I bought an eight pack of Bounty paper towels as I typically do, and have been doing so for my kitchen for over 25 years. The new Bounty paper towels are thin, cheap, horrible quality, and indistinguishable from previous Bounty paper towel products. Store brand paper towels are now better than the new Bounty paper towels. I'm not talking about the new Essentials brand of Bounty paper towels. I am talking about the standard Bounty paper towels I had been using for 25 years. Bounty paper towels lost a long-time customer. I will not spend the kind of money they charge for a now horrible product. After 25 years of only buying Bounty paper towels, I will be switching to Brawny as long as I can find their product. Now, the difference between Bounty and Brawny is like night and day.

Bring back the prints!
I'm extremely disappointed that my favorite paper towels and napkins are no longer available with prints. I have been buying Bounty towels and napkins for years and years. Do you save that much by only selling plain white that you won't even give us the choice? I am forced to switch to Sparkle towels because they still have prints. I refuse to buy plain white towels OR napkins. You've lost a customer and it's too bad because I like the quality.

Bounty paper towels have changed
The towels I have bought in the last few months are not near as easy to use as before. I feel something has changed for the worse. They wont tear straight down if you want a quarter of a sheet anymore. They won't tear all the way across at the perferation unless you use both hands and go slow. Also I've had a couple rolls that the 2 ply wasn't together. I am a huge paper towel user and am not happy!
We're sorry to hear the last few packages you've received haven't been up to either of our standards, Beverly. We have many quality checks in place to make sure every product reaches you in perfect condition. Our sheets are designed to be torn at the perforation line, but we'll certainly share the change in what you've experienced in tearing sheets in half as well. In 2023, we upgraded our paper towels to improve their absorbency and clothlike look & texture to enable messes to be picked up more quickly & completely. We'd really like to roll into this further. Bring back the good stuff!
as with everybody else, I too noticed the quality took a steep decline after my last purchase a few weeks ago. they rip apart in half and as previously stated, are shorter than the regular sheets! might be the best sales tactic ever though; use these paper towels to cover your food and you either need to use 3 sheets instead of 2 to cover a plate, or with the areas now left uncovered by using 2 sheets you can then use more sheets to clean the microwave! way to ruin a good thing.
With the many quality checks that are in place, you should always get the very best, so we're disappointed to hear that wasn't the case this time. What Happened?!!
I've been a loyal Bounty customer for years. It looks like they just made changes for the worse! The texture is horrible and they aren't as absorbent…they've become cheaply made and less effective. I am not one to write many reviews, but I felt the need to express my disappoint with Bounty.

Longer Size? No thanks!
I have used Bounty for several years. I loved the Select A Size. The longer ones are just not as confidants for me. We had some of the shorter ones tucked away in our camper and we noticed how much nicer that size is. Got home and we're back to the 'new, longer' size. I guess with the new size, people use more and you sell more. I'll have to check around and see if another company makes the smaller size because it just works better for us and is less for us. Disappointing.

What happened
I've been using Bounty forever and something has gone wrong. The paper towels are so thin and non-absorbent. I thought I accidentally bought the wrong towels. The price has gone up and the quality has gone down A LOT. And, now I use more paper towels, which is why I always bought your product.

Quality Gone
Been purchasing Bounty for over 20 years now at premium price and sadly this latest purchase will be my last. I usually never write reviews on products, however I feel you should know as a company. The quality is completely gone and the sheets feel like the cheap generic rolls you would purchase from a discount store. At the PREMIUM PRICE PAID you expect the sheets to at least pickup a small spill, instead now I have to use double the sheets which breaks upon wetting. I have pictures of comparison from my previous purchase to this purchase and the difference is night and day. I suggest you guys at quality control/improvement get it together before other loyal customers stop purchasing. Not sure who at corporate authorized this change; it will cost the company dearly.

Big changes
Since Covid, there's been a marked change in the quality of these paper towels. They're thinner and rougher. Quality also seems to depend on where you buy them. After a lifetime of being a loyal customer, I will switch to another brand. Very disappointing!
