I have had mine for a couple months now and love cooking on it. Takes a little to get the hang of but not nearly like what I have heard from others. For the first time I can smoke a pork shoulder without hovering over the smoker all day! I get it to temp...and walk away. While not perfect (one screw stripped out of the stand) the price is just way too awesome for what you get. They must have changed the packaging because mine was packed fantastic...the negative reviews for a broken cooker are nuts...Sam's return policy is awesome. This cooker is WELL worth the money...just compare to some of the other brands and you will see. Get the diffuser and you will have a MONSTER of a deal.

We had an infrared grill for about 6 years that we really liked. It did a good job. Our grates wore out and kept needing to be replaced so we decided to upgrade. We were at a store that had the big green egg. The salesman went over everything with us and we were impressed. But not at the tune of $1200 for almost everything the Vision comes with but for half the price. We went over to Sams and bought this one. We have used it several times already and we are very impressed. So far I can say we are extremely happy and glad we purchased this grill.

Decided to buy this as a birthday present when it was on sale. I have always wanted a kamado grill because of the footprint. We have a smaller size deck and having to go up and down to grill is a pain. Setup: This thing is heavy. Even with 2 people in can be tough. Setup is straight forward. It comes with all tools needed to assemble. Spend the time to do it right the first time because ~150Lbs is tough to move around to fix. Use: I cannot recommend enough about getting an electric charcoal starter. Lighter fluid on charcoal is never good and it can give a slight taste to the food. Just spend the extra $10-$20 for one at another store. Issues: I think the side tables are not the best. First, the advertisements glued to them do not come off cleanly. You have to elbow grease the glue off. Then you have to worry about the stain or scratching it. Not the best of design, but you can live with it. $300 for the propane attachment is ridiculous. They need to find a better method for that. But, I did not buy this to hook propane to. I would give this 5* if the side tables were better. They appear a little on the weaker side. I am not overly concerned with them, because I have a table nearby for heavier stuff. Overall, it is excellent. I guarantee that the food off a $1,500 Green Egg does not tast $1,000 better than the steaks I just made on mine. In fact, I bet my ribeyes were much better than the ones off a Green Egg because I know how to grill :)
