I bought this as a gift and after seeing it I want one for myself.

We had an infrared grill for about 6 years that we really liked. It did a good job. Our grates wore out and kept needing to be replaced so we decided to upgrade. We were at a store that had the big green egg. The salesman went over everything with us and we were impressed. But not at the tune of $1200 for almost everything the Vision comes with but for half the price. We went over to Sams and bought this one. We have used it several times already and we are very impressed. So far I can say we are extremely happy and glad we purchased this grill.

I have had mine for a couple months now and love cooking on it. Takes a little to get the hang of but not nearly like what I have heard from others. For the first time I can smoke a pork shoulder without hovering over the smoker all day! I get it to temp...and walk away. While not perfect (one screw stripped out of the stand) the price is just way too awesome for what you get. They must have changed the packaging because mine was packed fantastic...the negative reviews for a broken cooker are nuts...Sam's return policy is awesome. This cooker is WELL worth the money...just compare to some of the other brands and you will see. Get the diffuser and you will have a MONSTER of a deal.

bought it Aug. 17th.. got it loaded with help. used side door on full size van. BEWARE , this thing weighs over 200#. got home slid it out of van and uncrated it. frame was easy to assemble . NOW FOR THE HARD PART ...getting the grill into the frame. REMINDER ...IT WEIGHS 200# YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SET ASSEMBLED GRILL INTO FRAME BY YOURSELF... after a few minutes of examining, decided to remove lid (easy enough .4 screws holding hinge) removed all internal parts ,then set bottom part into frame. put all internal parts back into bottom half and reattach lid ..you may need some help reattaching lid, as hinge is spring loaded and must be reattached in the open position. attached side shelves and lid handle and put grates in. In all took about 30 minutes. SOOOOO.. the assembly was not that bad& it DOES come with everything . some said they did not get ashtray or tiered grates ,this one did and did include cover ALL FOR $400.00..
