These are comfortable, easy to

These are comfortable, easy to learn to use, and much better for my ears. Was having an issue with one of my ears from using ear buds which has cleared up now that I’m using my Shokz. I also appreciate the fact that I can hear what else is going on around me while using them. Highly recommend.

These are great headphones for

These are great headphones for running in the woods. You can hear music fairly well, and what is going on around you. When road running, car noises really impacts the noise you hear in the headphones. I used AirPods before getting these, and could hear music and car traffic fairly well. They aren’t super great for talking on the phone, as it’s hard to hear the conversation if there is any outside noise. I’d assume listening to a podcast would also be challenging. Sound quality is just ok. I am a female with a smaller head, and ordered the mini’s. I think the regular would fit poorly.

Causes tinnitus

Immediately after turning them on, I started having tinnitus. This ceased when I turned them off but they are unusable. Highly disappointed in the money spent. I tried on a pair at Sam’s prior to purchasing and did not experience this. Not sure if it is common with these or not, but no reviews mentioned this.

Not as good as I

Not as good as I wanted with my ski helmet. Integration with iphone and siri is not good. Cant control with voice inside helmet. Cant reach the control button when inside helmet. Much better for biking with a bike helmet. Still cant get good Siri integration.

Shokz rock

I got these for use in a factory setting where Im listening to music pretty constantly. Earbuds can hurt after prolonged use so I really wanted to give Shokz a try. I had originally hoped that Shokz would work well while I had ear plugs in, and they do! But it sounds like listening to music that is muffled through water. . or you know, little foam ear plugs lol. For all day comfort they are amazing. And when they are being used as intended for walking or running or even being in public but wanting to maintain situational awareness - in those instances they're awesome Happy with my purchase, and shout out to the Shokz Customer Happiness team, there were several issues with my ordering process and they made sure I felt cared for and made it right. Love my Shokz!

Great comfort and very secure.

This are very comfortable with good sound and I like that they do not come off too easily. My only criticism is that the hoop sticks out too much and the battery life seemed longer in past models. A little more volume would help in noisy situations too.

Shokz Headphones for Runners

I'm a relatively new runner within the past year, and have worked my way up to running longer distances. I was in the market for new headphones that would allow me to attend to my surroundings when running through my neighborhood while still enjoying music. I've been pleasantly surprised by these open ear headphones. I unfortunately have to wear a few other items due to severe allergies (filtered allergy mask, sun glasses) but the headphones still fit comfortably with everything else around my ears and don't budge. I've used them twice so far and worked up a sweat and they appear to be pretty resilient against the extra moisture (and easy to clean). I wasn't expecting significant bass or anything like that, but the overall sound quality is good. If you are around something else that is emitting louder sound (passing car, dog) you will hear that over any music, but that's the point. The battery life seems pretty good, and they charge relatively quickly. So far, I'm impressed! I hope that they continue to hold up with extended use.

Wanted to love them, ended up returning :hushed:

Sound and build quality is great. Clarity of sound is really good. Don't expect bass though. A little disatisfied with the usability. No way to mute from the headset and the app is needed to perform certain functions like multi-pairing. Ive used medium sized helmets and the headset fit feels a bit large. I would've preferred something with a smaller fit. I think the Openrun has a mini fit for those wanting aomething smaller.

Just OK

After a long run the pressure from the buds on the side of my head gives me a headache. And at times I would like to block out the outside sounds. I guess I prefer wearing regular ear buds and having the option of not pushing them in very far to hear car’s and such when needed.

Not horrible, but not great either

I like the concept of these but I think the execution could use improvements. I feel like these are not resting on my ears where they should be, so I have to have the volume maxed out to get good sound quality in a midly noisy environment at my work (and even then I can'thear some of my music properly). The volume up/down buttons are hard to use due to their size and placement (one should be on the side like the universal button on the left). Have a hard time telling powering on/off is working because I can barely hear the voice feedback when I do so. I didn't notice these issues right away so even if I did the 14 day trial that wouldn't have made a difference in realizing that they don't fit me correctly. It was only when I was adjusting them one time that I noticed I could hear the sound better, but it's not where they naturally rest on my head. Also, I have a job that requires wearing a hairnet and safety glasses so they may be causing minor interference as well.
