As a runner these definitely made listening to music much easier. They stay secure and don’t bounce around(I have the mini version). They give you more situational awareness at lower volumes, but if you decide to crank the volume they can drown out all the other noise like regular earbuds. They don’t quite have the immersive sound and bass like regular headphones, but everything thing else these offer outweigh the cons.

I've had the Trekz Air when the company was still called AfterShokz. Great piece of headphones and lasted me all these years. It still actually works great, but just recently started having some trouble only when making calls where I sound like I'm cutting in and out apparently. If that didn't happen, I'm almost certain I wouldn't have traded them in. I'm only a few weeks in using the OpenRun and can't say much yet, but here are my thoughts so far: Pros: 1) Light and 2) aesthetically sleeker than older model. Mild Annoyances: 1) The flexibility of the headphones causes them to flop around a bit when trying to handle them, a bit annoying when in a hurry. 2) It might be different if I got the mini size, but I feel the conduction piece moves easy so I have to adjust them often versus the Trekz Air sat right where I needed them and stayed in place. 3) Also I'm noticing the sound isn't coming through as clear as the Trekz Air did. As I said, still getting use to these so I'll give it a little more time. On a side note, after I got the OpenRun a few weeks later the new ear pieces were released... so, yeah, that wasn't annoying or anything, lol.

Awesome sound without the speaker protruding out of side. They are super comfortable on my ears for 8 hours while driving a semi truck all over the U.S. Plus it has great sounding base with great quality of all around sound and holds a long battery charge before you need to recharge to use again. So happy I will be purchasing a newer version whenever they come out with one!?

It is really comfortable and works rally well. The sound quality is really amazing. The only thing is that Bluetooth doesn't support two devices paired at the same time, and on my case, it is really helpful because I need connected my phone and my computer and use both of them at the same time as I used to do on other headsets.

I was on the fence about buying these, but I was also tired of having my Earbuds fall out of my ears, and irritating them after a while of being in! Then along came shokz! The sound is better than I expected, even noticed new details in the music I listen to! I use them to help me fall asleep and they don’t bother my ears at all, although I can still hear my spouse snoring, lol! Controls are easy to use as well for pausing and skipping tracks, although the volume buttons are in an odd place in my opinion, but to be honest I usually don’t adjust the volume. I will admit the higher volume kinda bothered my cheek bones due to the heavy vibration, but I honestLy don’t think anyone will need to listen to them that loud. If you do want to be totally immersed in sound, get some earplugs, especially in a setting with a lot of background noise(like a bus or plane). Overall very comfortable to wear, easy to use and great sound!

Great product and convenient way to listen music and make calls. Comfortable, clear and easy to use. I bought one for about 10 years ago and this is my second set. I loved it. I also bought as a gift for my son, and my brothers. A total of 6 sets over this time. Badar

Love, love, love! I never wore headphones before Shokz because I hated the feeling of being deaf to the rest of the world, and earbuds never stayed in my ears. I’ve taken these out on runs, to work, the gym, grocery store- perfect for all occasions. The only weird thing is feeling my skin vibrate and tickle if my volume is all the way up, but that’s manageable.

Didn’t realize that a headset could be so versatile and comfy. No more ear soreness from extended use. I wear them all day. I put them on the night stand to charge before I go to sleep and then put them back on the next morning after I shower. A essential part of my “every day carry” items.

For some reason NO earbuds will stay in my ear! I have tried every brand and certainly wasted a lot of money. Problem solved. Not only are these OpenRun Pros comfortable and extremely secure, they give me a comfortable volume and my husband doesn’t have to hear my podcasts blasting on an external speaker in the house or outside on a walk. These are truly a game changer for me! If I could I would rate them even higher than a 5!

This is my third pair that I purchased. First of this style in the product line offered. The handling keeping the vibration down is improved. I always like the feature of nothing in your ear canal to hear what is playing off of your device. This is a big reason I have turned to using your product. I have skin irritation around and in my ears, this solves that issue while still being able to listen to a device. Only draw back is when I looked into downloading your app so I could change the equalizer with my smart phone, it seemed to have a lot of third party conditions looking into my daily internet activity. Lots of tracking for information not having to do with my phone or OpenRun Pro device. So I didn't get the app. I still would like to download and control those extra features, but just without the third party tracking attached. Since I can't tweak and use this fully yet, I can only say that so far I'm okay with the sound quality. I have no idea if it can be better. But out of the box is fine, the vibrations are tickling less and hardly an issue.
