Wear them 10 hours a day while at work. Experience is best when ambient noise is at its lowest. I work around heavy machinery so at times I didn't hear them at all. Even kind of hard to hear at times when driving on the highway. After 10 hours there is minor discomfort on the top of my ears/ temples and when I take them off I can still feel them hours later. Overall at home or around the house they are awesome! I can say that these have helped me finally get caught up on Time suck podcast! Over all I would recommend them! I have #ASD, and these headphones: 1. Don't touch my ears 2. Let me listen to background music during social activities (easing stress) 3. I can put in earplugs and the sound is enhanced The sound quality isn't perfect, but that's not the point, and not why I got them. It's so I can be open and hear ambient sounds, but ALSO be in control of my background. Also, nobody thinks I'm actually listening to anything, because nothing is actually in or obstructing my ears. So it's non-awkward to wear everywhere. Lastly, I love the multi-device pairing feature in the app. I use these headphones with my: TV, Computer, Tablet, Laptop, and two cellphones (don't judge me!). I wish every bluetooth device I have had this feature. _So nice_ one tiny improvement would be to allow the BTLE to switch to a multi-paired device, even if it's not currently one of the two actively connected devices.

I had to upgrade my old pair and these have a much clearer sound and lighter feel. The sound quality is what you would expect (these aren't the headphones to relax and listen to music). I decided on the Pros since they are a bit newer and hopefully will last 5 years or more.

I am 82 years old and I love them. I can transfer my house phone to my cell and not miss any calls when I'm in my car. I can walk up to the main road to get my mail and hear everything around me. I never could stand to have button ear phones in my ears. They made my ears hurt and could not hear what was around me.

Product met overall expectations—a good compromise between safety and sound quality. Not an immersive audiophile product but a useful tool for my long slow runs. Surprisingly light weight unit with excellent fit. Intuitive controls. True graphic equalizer customization (for more low end and high end) would be highly desirable in future models. No regrets in purchasing these. They will replace my conventional (in-ear) wireless earbuds on the run.

I run on the ditch where I live and often times there’s random vehicles that I alwyas want to stay alert for. I work in an office that requires me to be aware of conversations around me, so I usually have cans on with the left ear off, but that's not the most comfortable or ideal listening environment. I was skeptical about how these would sound, but I've been obsessed from the moment I put them on. It's like having a speaker in the room that only you can hear. I have full conversations with coworkers while listening to music, and when using it for calls, I find the quality to be fantastic.

These are exceptional light, yet stay in place incredibly well. When I go on runs, walks, or riding bikes, with in ear headphones, I just was not aware enough of what was going on around me. With these, I have about 90% awareness. I'm still listening to music, so I'm still a little distracted still. I also love that I can walk around the house, listen to music and still hold a conversation. My wife is not into music as much as I am, and she has grown to appreciate that she doesn't have to yell or touch my shoulder when she needs to get my attention. They charge really fast and the battery life is great. The charging connection is proprietary, and that always bugs me. What I gain in awareness, I do lose in my picky audiophile sound. They do not compare to my in ear Beats, but they fit the function I want them for. I would totally recommend these to everyone trying to be more aware of their surroundings and still filling their ears with music. It will not blow you away with in ear sound, but that is not why I bought them. Great job Shokz!

Honestly disappointed overall. Sound quality and volume were better on my aeropex pair. The bass itself is better I will agree, but at the loss of everything else. Biggest downer is when any notification hits my phone or watch depending what I have them paired to when it returns to music after shortly reducing the volume it stays reduced and you have to switch apps in the phone or force close and reopen to get it back to normal level or repair it again with the Garmin watch. Fit and feel seems same as my previous models. It doesn't hum/vibrate as bad as the original aftershokz but it does do more than the aeropex/openrun.

I was introduced to the Aeropex “After”Shokz last year an fell in love with them. I typically run around 40-50 plus miles a week and I needed something for my longer runs through the rolling back roads I’m on for safety and comfort issues I was having with my AirPod pros. Yes, it hurt a little to lose some sound quality and a mic to take phone calls on these long (10 plus mile) runs, but to feel safe and know when cars and trucks were approaching from behind and to run with more confidence does a lot mentally for these long training runs. Now, the best part was I was able to upgrade to the new Open Run Pros and got the mic and the sound back that I was hoping for. I love love love them and can’t wait for Marathon race days to come this year, being able to have conversations and run with more confidence in these races is going to be great. They fit great, if I forget to throw them on the charger I know I can just throw them on while I’m getting ready for 5-10 before the run and they will last hours! Yes, you still sacrifice a little bit of sound but the safety and being able to talk with friends and not have to take any ear buds out is so much more worth it! Love them, oh and they are built TOUGH! Perfect for the active lifestyle I have adopted in just the last 3 years.
