Perfect solution

Traditional ear buds and headphones remove you from the surrounding world…which is good at times, but I find often inconvenient. Shokz provide that middle ground solution that allows be to enjoy my listening while also hearing and often participating in conversations with neighbors, fellow walkers, and family members. These sound great….a combination of bone conduction and speakers…but they isolate the sound to the wearer very well. I am often listing to music while having a robust conversation with someone and they are oblivious to my music listening. Really great product! Love them!

Loved everything about them, expect they gave me headaches.

I have been on the hunt for headphones that feel comfortable, don't come with the "Vacuum" feeling of earbuds, are good quality and still allow me to hear my surroundings. I loved so much about these. I tried both sizes and both felt similar. They were easy to wear and generally comfortable. The sound quality was great, allowing me to hear audio clearly while also allowing me to hear things going on around me. Charging was easy and the case they came with was perfect. My only problem, and what ultimately lead me to return them, was that I got headaches, especially around my ears and jaw where they sat. The headaches would get worse the longer I wore them. I thought it might just be an initial side effect that would go away with use, so I tried them consistently for awhile. Sadly the headaches persisted and I had to return them. Luckily, right at the same time, Shokz released the OpenFit headphones, which I got. I have been using them for two weeks and they have been great! No headaches! So, the OpenRun Pro's didn't work out for me, but I still stand by Shokz.

I wear glasses every day all day

I was unsure how these would feel on my ears with my glasses. I have tried in ear earphones but they ALL hurt my ears even with the cushy soft things and the different sizes. Then I tried the over the ear headphones but those squeez my glasses to my ears and hurt as well. So when I found these I was hesitant but figured what the heck. I did tons and tons of research on reviews and none ever mentioned how they worked with glasses. There is some awkwardness on occasion but it is usually negligible.

Battery is long lasting which

Battery is long lasting which is awesome! i love being able to listen to my music and bring able to hear things happening around me. The color i got was pink and i love how it’s like a muted pink. Easy to charge too. The magnet that charges it is epic too. It’s like there’s an unspoken code between my charger and shockz. Comfort is great too! No more pain in the ears from the ear phones being jammed in my ear! Overall, i love my shockz!!

Product only gets better

I love this product. I liked the Titanium line which I first bought but the new ones are even better. The bone conduction and sound quality is definitely improved. The weight and comfort are also better. Very smoothly designed and they look nice as well. The best feature to me is the magnetic charging cable similar to what Mac computers have. You couldn’t ask for a better product.

Great but I wish they still had a rubber door on the charging port

I had the aftershokz before the company revamped for about a year until they gave in, so I ordered a better pair this time from the new and improved company. I’m pretty satisfied, they fit better around my glasses and better sound, but i don’t like that the charging port does not have a cover like my old ones. I really wish they would’ve had that as it’s magnetic charging and I work in an environment that has small fragments of metal, so a cover would make this product 5 stars.

Great for Active Use

I got these to use while jogging and they are quite good. The low end sound is pretty anemic but you can actually hear bass lines. Given the physical limitations of bone induction, I think that's to be expected. I wouldn't use these to sit down and listen to high fidelity music. They are great for exercise and listening to podcasts, though. The mid- to high-range fidelity is impressive and clear. I can easily understand speech and lyrics. They are also very comfortable. Most in-ear or over-ear headphones cause discomfort after extended wear. Either from irritation or heat retention. But the open design of these eliminate that. The magnetic charging cable interface is nice. There is no clumsy dust cover you have to open to access the charging port which will eventually wear out and break off. The biggest issue I have with these is that they wrap over my ears... But I wear glasses which utilize the same real estate. For the most part they seem to get along but sometimes I have to manipulate them. My glasses are very minimalistic. I'm not sure how well these would work with glasses frames that have really thick temple arms. And these are not great for use while relaxing. The behind-the-head band sticks out a little so if you want to sit down and lean back, it will press against the chair and tend to push the phones off your head. These are primarily designed for active use. Which is primarily what I got them for so it's fine.

Great For Running+

Great for runs, commuting, hiking, and even working in-office--they stay put, sound great while allowing me to hear things around me, and the ability to skip, play/pause, and adjust volume without touching my phone is great. The only negatives for me are: 1) I live in a very urban area that is often noisy so that even at max volume, I sometimes can't hear what I'm listening to (which is probably intentional to maintain situational awareness) and 2) I have long hair that often gets caught in my OpenRuns (I'll consider OpenFit next)

Best choice so far

These are my 3rd pair of Shokz, the opencomm were great everyone could hear me wherever I was, the OpenRun is what I went to after those which I loved and still have but the day these came out I put my order in and have not regretted it one bit! The shipping was fast the audio is second to none period!

Battery life much less than advertised

They are supposed to be 10 hour battery life. First use on a full charge was 8.5 hours, 2nd use full charge 6.5 hours. They charge fast but if you're on an endurance event you are out of luck. The volume is less than my regular Shoxz which are 3-4 years old. After a week of use I have asked for a warranty replacement. Let's see what happens.
