I never really paid attention to energy efficiency before, but since this model heavily advertised it, I decided to connect an energy meter to my home's electrical panel to compare usage. Despite requiring its own 30A outlet (compared to the old unit's 20A), the difference in energy consumption is massive—this dryer uses about 60–70% less energy per load than the gas dryer did. That's a big win. When researching heat pump technology, I was prepared for longer drying times, but I've been pleasantly surprised by this dryer's performance. It handles loads effectively, even with the gentler heat cycle that comes with the auto-dry feature. I'm pretty meticulous with my laundry—similar fabrics together, jeans inside out, no dryer sheets—and I've noticed that the lower, more even heat is much gentler on my clothing compared to the high, direct heat from my old gas dryer. Connecting the unit to SmartThings was quick and seamless. I didn't realize how useful a notification for a completed load would be until I had it. I haven't dived into all the custom load options yet (the interface seemed a little overwhelming at first glance), but so far, auto-dry has handled everything from towels to delicates without issue. Overall, I'm impressed with the energy efficiency and performance of this ventless heat pump dryer. It does take a little longer than my old unit, but the trade-off in energy savings and fabric care is well worth it. I'm looking forward to seeing how it holds up over time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is by far the BEST Dryer that Samsung has created. It is spacious, quiet and has many options for drying clothes. The LED panel is well lit and designed. It is easy to operate and again extremely quiet when in use. The inside light is such a GREAT FEATURE that overshadows the competition. I have used the Quick Dry, Time Dry and Sanitize settings which are a must in drying my clothes. Being able to quickly dry my clothes with the Quick Dry feature puts me in control of how much time I need and I don't have to wait around for the dryer. Using the Time Dry option also gives me control over how much time I need to dry my clothes, using this feature I can increase or decrease the amount of time I need ensuring my clothes aren't over dried or under dried. The Sanitize function gives me that extra confidence knowing that any lingering smells or odors are removed in addition to the deep drying the washer already does and this in itself is a necessity when my clothes sometimes require that extra clean when just washing/drying doesn't do. I love the subtle sound the dryer makes when each of the options are selected. I give this dryer a 10 out of 10, great job Samsung, this is definitely a GREAT DRYER !

I like the way the dial and buttons are setup, simplistic and easy to read. The built in setting are good, all of them can be customized if needed to suit one's specific needs. I personally use the normal setting for general washing and for a deeper cleaning I use the heavy duty cycle. The light is subtle yet bright enough to illuminate what's inside. Cleaning out the filter is a breeze, take it out, pop it open, clean, close, put back in, done. Samsung has really gotten good with the appliances and I can only wait for the next time I have to upgrade, which won't be for a while as these will last a good long time.

This dryer is by the best dryer I have encountered, the multi settings that are available for this dryers provides a laundry experience unmatched, there are some great settings on the dryer that allows for a drying experience that's unmatched, I currently enjoy the wrinkle prevention feature on the dryer that eliminates the iron when getting my clothes out of the dryer. The best setting on the dryer is the time dry which gives me more range and freedom to dry my clothes without having to monitor closely, I know that my clothes are dry in the right time and temperature with the timed dryer setting!!!

For larger or heavier items, the dryer doesn't seem powerful or efficient enough to handle the load in a single cycle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not all dryers are made equal and the Samsung 6000 series dryer has made me see the light. With my old dryer I always set it to 60 minutes time dry and maybe the occasional low temp cycle. This baby has so many settings and options, I never realized I was missing. The presets take all the guesswork out of how long and what temp you need to dry things at. The high temp Sanatize preset has been a lifesaver for washing all the masks we have. It gives that extra peace of mind knowing they are really clean. The dryer dries so quickly, is less wasteful, and far more efficient than my previous dryer. I love the musical chime is makes when it turns off and on. And the end of cycle tune is really cute. The LED panel is a very nice feature, you know exactly how much time any setting will take and you also know when it switches over from drying to cooling down. Also noteworthy is the rather interesting lint trap design. Long gone is the foot long screen that may or may not drop lint back into the machine. This uses a folding screen the inserts into the front of the inside of the dryer. Was a bit odd to get used to, but I really like it.

It is so large and can dry so many clothes in a shorter period of time! It's so quiet too!!!! This dryer is so big the depth with the door open is 52.6 inches, I can put a big load in and set what type and my clothes are dry every time! There is a wrinkle prevent that will run 180 minutes of intermittent tumbling in unsheathed air that will help reduce wrinkles which help so much with less ironing! I'll add a picture of the cycle chart that has so many opinions, I can dry my quilt and no longer have to go to the laundry mat for that! This machine can be stacked with the washer or side by side depending the size area you have! This machine has been a blessing to a mom of boys!!

I really liked it because it is modern and the best in technology since with its hybrid heat pump it helps you save electricity as it recycles hot air reducing heat loss, it also has a series of load configurations such as: towels, bedding, sportswear, etc. Something that caught my attention is that it does not have the annoying ventilation system, this makes it look much better and I do not have to worry about the space in the back of the dryer, it only has a small hose that you just have to connect to the drain of the washing machine and that's it, plus its smartThings application makes your life easier and more practical from the comfort of your home, you can change or reschedule the way your clothes dry. I was a little worried about the steam that this dryer would emit, thinking that over time it would smell bad or breed bacteria or something like that, but it turns out that it has a self-drying cycle that serves to dry the dryer drum which will help keep the dryer always dry. sometimes I use sensor dry, it helps me dry my clothes well without exceeding the electrical energy helping to save money, it has a large capacity and is very spacious inside, it also emits a sound that helps you know if your clothes are dry, this sound system can also be silenced if the noise bothers you, this dryer is very complete since it always keeps you informed of everything that happens with it, it also tells you when its filter is dirty, something very important that you should keep in mind is that the door can be changed in position for better comfort so you can open the door in the direction you like, I am very happy to have this dryer in my home, it took a while to arrive but it was worth it.
