After calling every single day. But before it broke it worked really well and we enjoyed it while it lasted. Hopefully the new one doesn't do the same thing as the last one.

It's one of those appliances that does its job really well but also makes life easier in ways I hadn't thought of before. First off, the heat pump technology is a huge win. It reuses heat instead of creating it from scratch every time, which makes a real difference in energy use. Not only is it better for the environment, but it's great for the electric bill too. Being a family of five with busy active kids and a working husband we tend to fill up on dirty clothes quickly between the Samsung washer in the dryer it cuts washing clothes in half! I literally don't have any complaints about the Samsung dryer.

This dryer is a more basic model, but has everything I need, from customizable settings to Sensor Dry! There are also preset settings too. There's a lint filter indicator too (looks like two overlapping grids)! I tend to clean my filter out after every use, if I remember to, but this is a great icon. Also, the lint filter is a container type, so can hold up a decent amount of lint. The dryer itself also holds a good amount (especially given the space it takes up - not a lot). The price is also great.

The new one is a great replacement, very similar "look and feel" and a little bit bigger. It's easy to run and defaults to a setting that is perfect for most washes. I hope this one gives me the extended service life that the old one did!

I really like the ventless design, so I can get rid of the dirty and leaky hole in my wall of laundry room where the vent came out. Always having to make sure it's clean, and it let in cold air during the winter. Now I can plug it up and prevent any outside air from infiltrating. The app is amazing, and synced right up without a problem with Samsung SmartThings which I use for several other appliances/sound bars/TVs. It's a bit strange needing to empty the water tank, which is how it's ventless. Heat pumps are much more efficient than traditional heating elements, so I will be saving money on electricity. It does take longer to dry than my old dryer, but it's still sufficient for our needs. Size slotted right into the old spot. I have never been disappointed in Samsung quality and innovation with technology. Very happy to have this appliance in my home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am truly impressed with this 7.5 cubic feet capacity Dryer. My favorite feature has to be the Sanitation setting. My household is filled with stuffed animals and we use this setting constantly. I also enjoy the copious amounts of setting and how easy it is to get the dryer up and running. One interesting setting is activewear that is des8gned to dry water repellent garments and other gym type material. There is also the benefit of the dryer lint collector. I love that it has more surface area than your normal collector. The collector is easily twice the size of our previous collector and its fairly easy to open up. With that being said, the dryer is far better at drying clothes than our previous dryer. It constantly heats the load in half the time as our previous one.

It does not have a vent and uses heat pump technology to gently dry your clothes without over drying using a 360 air flow. This technology will save me up to 50 percent energy. I use the Smart things app for all my kitchen appliances and adding my new dryer is perfect for making my home a smart home. The smart things app will let you know when your clothes are dry. I can also start, stop or delay the cycle, all from my phone. I love the “filter notification” on the panel and that the filter is a double filter and decreases dust. I appreciate that the door is reversible since my home installation was built backwards with the dryer first and then the washer. No more jockeying clothes around doors and dropping them on the floor. Plus, I can see my clothes with the lighted drum. In addition , since by dryer does not have a vent, I look forward to having less dust in my home and not needing to check the vent for clogs. I'm very pleased with my new dryer.
