[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this product for free to sample. Planted seeds and watered them. Nothing grew. My soil is somewhat sandy so this could be why. I would not purchase this product again and would not recommend it to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After removing our old satellite dish, we were left with a patch of bare, muddy ground that was a real eyesore. In fact, that whole area of the yard was just a sorely neglected muddy mess. Fast forward 30 days, and we now have lush green grass where there used to be nothing but dirt! I'll admit-I wasn't the most consistent when it came to watering (maybe once a day, if that), but I did take the time to break up the soil well before sowing. That was definitely the toughest part, thanks to our wonderful Arkansas red clay, but I think it made a big difference. I'm pleased enough with the results that I'll be picking up a few more bags to tackle the bare spots in the front yard next!

This was the first time trying the Pennington Bermuda grass seed I just followed the instructions on the bag and in no time I had seedlings coming up. It is filling in more and getting thicker and greener each week.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is very easy to use but the bag is heavy! Spread it and forget it you will get grass! We used it to fill in some bald spots and it worked great.

I am very disappointed in this product. After four weeks I still have no grass. I followed the instructions and actually spread it thicker than suggested and because I live in South Florida I watered more than the suggested twice a day to keep the product moist.

I laid sod around my new house, and seeded the rest of the yard with Pennington Bermudagrass. The seed took about 2 weeks to come up with twice daily watering and generic brand starter fertilizer. Once the seed came up, it quickly outpaced the Bermuda sod I purchased. I wish I had planted more seed and purchased less sod. I could have saved thousands.
