Like the idea and larger capacity. But the cubes don’t break apart and come out in sheets. They were clear at first but now cloudy. They don’t melt as fast as the round ones which is really nice. But hate the sheets of ice and that they stack and freeze together

Beats ANY fridge ice maker! We use filtered water from our kitchen faucet Waterdrop brand filter and this machine makes the best tasting, clear ice cubes - and i mean CUBES - outside of the best restaurants. Clear ice lasts longer, tastes so much better and looks fantastic! Don't bother with the machines that make the white bullet-shaped ice that stinks and melts when you look at it. They may be cheaper but if you really want 40 lbs of perfect ice every day, shut your fridge ice maker off and get this machine! Fantastic!! Never buy ice again, and get the BEST!

Looks great, I purchased stainless steel. Started making ice right away. First ice was ready in 30 minutes. I first started with the largest cubes because I didn’t think I would like small ones. They were plenty big and hard to break up, so I decreased size a day later and much easier to break up. Makes ice, plenty of ice. A little louder than I expected, but I’m getting used to it now.

We LOVE this ice maker!!! We have had two of the smaller igloo countertop ice makers prior to this one and thought we liked them. Those didn't last as long as we had hoped and never made enough ice for our family of 5. I saw this one and watched some YouTube videos on it and thought I would give it a shot. I can not speak more highly of this machine. It makes SO much ice that we bag up the extra ice and put in our deep freezer!! I highly recommend this Frigidaire ice maker!!!

I does make ice but requires a lot of attention. Ice is not clear. Ice is very wet, when placed in a colder freezer for later use it sticks together in one solid block. It is slow depending on room temperature the only way to get 40 %23 per 24 hours would be to start with water at just above 32 degrees, make sure you are standing by to empty Ice and refill water immediately when needed.

This ice maker performed just as it was advertised. I tried using two types of water, first I used Tap water the ice came out clear with a little cloudiness in the center. Then I tried processed water(bottle water) the ice cubes came out crystal clear. I am very happy with this ice maker.

Little bit larger footprint than a bullet shaped icemaker but still fits very comfortably on my countertop the electronIcs controls are functional and easy to use. Makes great ice. Ice is a solid square ice cube no hole in the middle like with a bullet shaped ice cube, much longer to dissolve then with the bullet shaped cubes. Great color choices. Haven't found anything I dislike about this ice maker.

This thing is even better than I thought. The amount of negative reviews surrounding this and other ice makers made me very, very cautious. Sending this away for my daughter to use at college in a hot state and she insisted on clear ice. This machine is NOT that noisy and makes perfect ice. Ran it for a few weeks before sending her off to college and we loved it. I would recommend this machine to anyone. The black stainless looks really nice.

While it came with a dent in one side, it didn't affect the ability of this icemaker to fulfill its purpose! It's as beautiful as it is functional. The temp can be adjusted if the ice isn't solid. It takes about 8 minutes for the first cubes to produce. There is also a beep that lets you know it's time to empty the ice bucket - then it continues making ice once it's emptied.

I bought because my icemaker broke and wanted a replacement without having to pay the high cost to get my icemaker fixed. I purchased this specific one because it made square ice cubes and had the capacity to make more ice in 24 hours. Immediately went to dump the basket as soon as the cycle finished and the ice was already melting quickly. I tried making two more batches and it still does does the same. Will be returning and buying a different one..
