It's not too big for my countertop. Yook me two tries to figure out exactly how to run it. The instructions are very good and come with cleaning instructions which are very so very helpful. I had my first tray of ice done with in 20 minutes it made an additional three trays after that in about 45 minutes to an hour, I absolutely love it

It isn’t really producing the ice they way I wanted. It keeps saying it full when it is not. The ice comes out in one big piece that I have to break up. Only keeping it because I don’t feel like going through the hassle to return it. I should have gotten a cheaper one. I thought more expensive would be a better quality especially from this brand. I wouldn’t recommend this one at all.

Have owned many ice makers over the years. This is the best one yet. Quiet, efficient, doesn't use much energy, and makes quality ice. Needed one for making ice continuously because of a knee replacement operation. Found out this one made enough ice for that as well as all of my other ice needs. Got rid of my freezer ice maker and now have more room in my freezer.

The first ice maker came in with a big dent on the back of the unit and it would never freeze the water. I don't blame that on the product, the shipping packaging was not sufficient. The replacement ice maker works like a charm! We use it to supplement the refrigerator ice maker and it performs very well. The box says it will make ice in as little as eight minutes but usually it takes about twenty minutes for a tray to freeze. We make up a couple of ten pound bags in a day and stash them in the deep freeze for later. So far this ice maker has performed up to expectations and I would certainly buy it again. I highly recommend this item.

We LOVE this ice maker!!! We have had two of the smaller igloo countertop ice makers prior to this one and thought we liked them. Those didn't last as long as we had hoped and never made enough ice for our family of 5. I saw this one and watched some YouTube videos on it and thought I would give it a shot. I can not speak more highly of this machine. It makes SO much ice that we bag up the extra ice and put in our deep freezer!! I highly recommend this Frigidaire ice maker!!!

Looks great, I purchased stainless steel. Started making ice right away. First ice was ready in 30 minutes. I first started with the largest cubes because I didn’t think I would like small ones. They were plenty big and hard to break up, so I decreased size a day later and much easier to break up. Makes ice, plenty of ice. A little louder than I expected, but I’m getting used to it now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my 1st one in 2017 and it started to malfunction earlier this year. This one is a little better than the previous version. The main issue with this ice maker when it's 85 degrees or above the ice melts super fast which waters down your drink. Good ice for eating if you are an ice eater like me. This ice maker is a sold 4-star but not 5-star.

Compared to our old "bullet" style icemaker, the EFIC452 is superior in every way. With the setting for the largest ice, the ice ends up being almost (but not quite) a perfect cube. The hollow space in the middle is minimal, which means that if you are transferring this to the freezer, the actual ice per volume is very high The ice iteself comes out in "sheets" so as it makes ice, the sheets stack on top of each other So the ice bin is actually completely full of ice by the time it trips the "ice full" shut-off. (The old bullet icemaker would fill the tray at an angle so it was just over half full and it would stop making ice) With the timer, you can set it to turn on in the morning so that it's already full of ice when you wake up. It makes ice so fast that it really doesn't have to run that long (the bullet style had serious trouble keeping up) Cleaning - Since the water constantly runs while making ice, no "self-cleaning" feature is needed. Just put in a 50/50 vinegar/water solution and let it make a batch or two of ice. The constant flow of cleaning solution takes care of most of the cleaning for you. (rinse thoroughly afterward to prevent vinegar-tasting ice) The only con really is that the "sheets" of ice that come out have to be broken up. I just tap them with the back end of a butter knife. The lower settings for ice-size are easier to break up

The 3rd party i bought this from was the problem...not the icemaker. Sent wrong shipping info..and 3 days later was checking on it then finally sent tracking number but never sent who had it fedex or ups. Then finally today offers a apology..Really...thats how they do business? The only reason she apologize is cause i sent a message saying how they never got in a hurry to offer help..never called..or even apologized for all the crap they put me thru. That was 2 days ago and NOW she sends a im sorry note. Short and sweet. Ha ..well i have news for ALL OF YALL..i wont be buying from them again.

At first I did not like this ice maker. But in a couple days it started to produce more and more ice. I like the square cube. the only thing that I think it needs, is a larger ice basket. The bucket fills up and its hard to get all the ice out without it going back into the water. So I just take the ice off the top before I empty it.
