it does what it says.... we like the cubes because they do not immediately melt. in my 30oz. vacuum tumbler, i still have a cold drink after 20 hours (overnight,). we make cubes for about 7 hours and then not again for a week. sure saving money from buying ice or repairman to fix ice maker. i feel safer with this. brand than lg or samsung or unheard of brand.

Not easy to clean and I don't like the cube shaped ice. It comes off in a huge sheet that you have to break up (like the other reviews say). I wish I never bought it. I don't use it and spent too much on it. It would be good for someone that needs a lot of ice though. It produces a lot and pretty quickly.

Made loud clicking noises for about a hour after plugging in. Noise finally stopped and seems to be working ok. I picked the square cubes over the tube kind because the square cube makers have less moving parts. We had a tube one before and the moving tray had broken twice. The square cubes melt a lot faster than the tube kind. This machine almost got sent back. I'm happy enough with it now but just barely.

I bought because my icemaker broke and wanted a replacement without having to pay the high cost to get my icemaker fixed. I purchased this specific one because it made square ice cubes and had the capacity to make more ice in 24 hours. Immediately went to dump the basket as soon as the cycle finished and the ice was already melting quickly. I tried making two more batches and it still does does the same. Will be returning and buying a different one..

I LOVE this icemaker! It makes clear ice that is wonderful to crunch and munch. I did not like the idea of the bullet ice that majority of the cheaper icemakers make. I really despise ice that's not clear... the bullet ones remind me of the nasty tray ice you make in your freezer. This thing chucks out ice like crazy! I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

Makes a bar of 24 ice cubes in the shape of a classic chocolate bar in 12 minutes for me. Recommend wiping down the interior with a damp paper towel before 1st use as there were a few spots of what appear to be glue residue. Very quiet operation other than when ice drops into the ice bin. Very pleased with purchase.

Best one out of 5 I've tried this year. Sent all the others back but this one does it's job well and every single time and makes tons more ice(40) than the other models I tried (26). I've been using nearly everyday for 2 months and I can't say enough food things about this model. it was worth the extra $40 I paid compared to other models that got stuck/froze up, small ice cubes, non-working Leads... This unit has already paid for itself from buying store ice! I bought a $10 water bottle pump and it sits next to my ice maker in a 3 gal bottle on my pass thru so I have water ready to fill up ice maker quickly without lifting a bottle. Just move the pump head over the icemaker reservoir and press the button to fill it. Amazing system that keeps whole family in ice for coke, tea, water, and frozen margaritas! Aiyee!!!!

It's not too big for my countertop. Yook me two tries to figure out exactly how to run it. The instructions are very good and come with cleaning instructions which are very so very helpful. I had my first tray of ice done with in 20 minutes it made an additional three trays after that in about 45 minutes to an hour, I absolutely love it

Looks great, I purchased stainless steel. Started making ice right away. First ice was ready in 30 minutes. I first started with the largest cubes because I didn’t think I would like small ones. They were plenty big and hard to break up, so I decreased size a day later and much easier to break up. Makes ice, plenty of ice. A little louder than I expected, but I’m getting used to it now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my 1st one in 2017 and it started to malfunction earlier this year. This one is a little better than the previous version. The main issue with this ice maker when it's 85 degrees or above the ice melts super fast which waters down your drink. Good ice for eating if you are an ice eater like me. This ice maker is a sold 4-star but not 5-star.
