I am truly an ice snob and have been looking for an ice maker that makes restaurant quality ice which won't cost me an arm and a leg. Have had this Ice Maker for about a month now and I must say that I love it. Now it does make clear ice but that greatly depends on your water if you use tap water the ice won't be as clear as if you used bottled water. It does make alot of ice and the only issue is that you have to break it up when it falls which is not a big deal either. The size is not bad either about the size of an Airfryer, so you can put it on your counter. When cleaning it when your done the smaller your hands the better cause it is a little tight in there. Overall I really do love this ice maker and would highly recommend it if you are one of those people like me who hate freezer ice and want somthing better then you cant go wrong with this bad boy.

i ordered "staiñĺèss steel" colori got was 1/3 stainless steel and 2/3 pale blue!! Ɓlùe is my favorite color ..but almòst everything in my ķìtcen is either red, blàck or white!! I think this one was more expensive! The instruction booklet was NOT written by an English-speaking person. Makingit difficult to understand. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FRIGDAIRE 40 %23 ICEMAKER.

I does make ice but requires a lot of attention. Ice is not clear. Ice is very wet, when placed in a colder freezer for later use it sticks together in one solid block. It is slow depending on room temperature the only way to get 40 %23 per 24 hours would be to start with water at just above 32 degrees, make sure you are standing by to empty Ice and refill water immediately when needed.

It’s super quiet, makes ice fairly quickly, only thing I think is a possible problem is when ice comes off heating grid it lays on the water float arm and the ice doesn’t break into separate cubes, just one big sheet of ice, be careful when scooping out cubes to not damage float arm

This ice maker is one of the best! You will want to use water with a low TDS (Total Desolved Solids) preferably 000 to have clear ice. Tap water needs to be filtered by a Zero Water filter pitcher or use distilled water. Check your water with a TDS meter which you can get with a Zero Water filter. Clear ice is easy to break up after the sheet drops into the basket. Just tap the top side of the sheet with the handle of a bread knife and they break easy. The TDS of my strait tap water is to high where I live to achieve clear ice with out filtering but not all states TDS are the same. I do recommend draining the ice maker if the TDS of the recycled water under the ice basket gets high. Ice freezing pushes impurities out of the water which build up in the recycling water.

Bought at a good time as we have had 113 degree heat, not normal here in California. This machine is great. Ice does come out wet and in sheets. I take them out and put them in a container and shake them then put it in the freezer. Makes ice pretty fast, easy to use and the ice is clear. Will go into our RV when the time comes.

This is a great ice maker. Yes, it is a little noisy…but it’s making ice. Love that it makes cube ice like Starbucks uses for their ice drinks. The ice does fall into ice bucket, but doesn’t break up, so you have to do that. I wish the ice tray was metal instead of plastic to avoid possible breaking when using provided scoop. Will look at instruction manual to see if you can adjust thickness. Overall, I am very happy with this unit and would recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] have had problems with it since I purchased it. it sprays water on the ice that is in the basket, melting it i tried to empty the water out of the unit and water in the tank would not drain out. don't waste your money.

I ordered this online and it was delivered to my house in the original box off the shelf. It was not in a larger box with any packing material. It was apparently beat up pretty bad in transit to me. Had dented box with tape in many areas. New product arrived with 3 small dents from shipping. I was going to overlook these as I am used to a running ice machine around the clock so I tried it out and was hoping to keep it if it worked correctly. I have now tried it out a couple days. It runs quietly until ice goes to drop out then make a loud noise due to ice cubes all being stuck together. It literally comes out whole. 3 rows of 8 cubes frozen together. If you dont mind breaking the ice bricks apart to put in everything. This is a deal breaker for me with kids who cant do it without making a mess as well as I cant help from making a mess trying to break ice to fit in kids water bottles etc

Made loud clicking noises for about a hour after plugging in. Noise finally stopped and seems to be working ok. I picked the square cubes over the tube kind because the square cube makers have less moving parts. We had a tube one before and the moving tray had broken twice. The square cubes melt a lot faster than the tube kind. This machine almost got sent back. I'm happy enough with it now but just barely.
