They are super small pieces, the biggest one I found was the size of a small fist, it is good charcoal otherwise, it does not pop and have a nice flavor, but the size and dust is not worth it in my opinion.

I use this Charcoal all of the time. It burns hot and lasts longer than other brands. We often finish cooking and have a good amount of coals left over so we don't need to use as much. I recommend it and will continue to purchase.

This charcoal gad terrible flavor. Used for two cooks. Threw the rest in the fire pit. Pieces were very small compared to other lump charcoals I’ve used.

Ive tried this 3 times and all three bags have been full of tiny pieces and dust. I expect Kamado Joe Big Block or FOGO quality from Sams, this is not good quality lump.

This is not lump charcoal. It’s all small pieces that smolder/burn creating dirty grey smoke with an unpleasant smell. Very disappointed in this purchase.

Great burning lump charcoal, very hot. Used it in several webers and my new Pit barrel smoker too. Not much ash and smothers quickly to use on the next cook.

I thought this would be great after reading the package info. Not the case. It lights easily but burns quickly and dies quickly. Might be ok to mix in with conventional charcoal.

This charcoal is nothing but tiny little crumbs. I've been through a few bags now so I know its not a fluke. Half of the charcoal falls through the grates before you can even get it lit. I expect better from products from Sams, and I would rather see a true premium lump charcoal brand carried, such as Jealous Devil or Fogo as they are far superior.

Burns hot and show. Worked great in the pit barrel smoker.
