Having been using a different brand which I really liked due to its softness, I wasnt sure if Charmin Ultra Strong would live upto the expectation. For some reason I have a notion that any STRONG roll would not be soft on the rear. And was I surprised when I used Charmin Ultra Strong?? You bet...absolutely. It was way more stronger than what I was using and equally soft. I would highly recommend it.

I never have to worry about it ripping and taking 5 feet of paper off the roll to make sure it doesnt tear. Also has a good texture on it to help clean but not be uncomfortable to the skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is good and soft, but in my personal opinion, I prefer Scott TP. I'm not a fan of the double fluffy tissue. It does exactly as it's supposed to do so I have no complaints there, just not the TP for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The name says it all, really. It's definitely "Ultra Strong" and you'll definitely use much less of it and not even notice. It doesn't tear or fall apart, definitely holds up well, but it's lacking a little in the softness department. To be perfectly honest, I think I'd rather use another variety of Charmin that is softer and more comfortable, even if it's not as strong. Overall a very good product, but for those who prefer something softer, stick to the "Ultra soft".

The tissue also feels a lot better than the other brands.i will be replacing my other brand with Charmin Ultra.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My review is not good or bad. I can only judge for myself. I live alone and work from home, so I didn't share rolls with anyone. I did find that the paper was thicker than the Scott's I normally use, so I did use less paper than normal, and if I evened it out, probably less than Scott's would be. Charmin seems to be about a third more expensive. I also have a septic system, so it would require a 2 year test to see whether the septic claim is true.

I have comfortably shopped for Charmin for many years, having considered it the best. However, my latest purchase is sooo disappointing that I wondered if it was counterfeit. Spools are shorter, bigger round, and it takes twice as much paper now per use. Makes me mad that I can't depend upon Charmin any more and will have to shop, compare and try out different brands. Charmin has done a very bad thing altering the size of the rolls. The rolls in my 24 pack were not even all the same size, measuring 3" up to about 4" and it is not the same paper, either!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Charmin Ultra Strong is strong. It protects my fingers and keeps me clean. I don't have to use much either. I would say they should combine ultra strong with soft. That would make it even better. Ultra Strong is a lot stronger than many of the cheaper brands my mom uses. She like Scott and that is scratch and not strong. Charmin Ultra Strong is not scratchy and it is comfortable to use.

Charmin Ultra Strong is without a doubt, the best TP I've ever used, and would consider nothing less. The paper is thick, which allows you to use much less, durable so it doesn't shred, yet very soft. If you choose to switch to Charmin Ultra Strong, you'll definitely want to make an active effort to use less paper. You'll probably even save money over the generic stuff if you do. Win, win!

I've used Charmin Ultra Strong exclusively for years now. I trust that it will do the job without any complications and it has yet to let me down. Some things just can't be trusted to the bargain brands. The subject of TP rarely comes up in casual conversations but when it does I always recommend Charmin Ultra Strong.
